Crane Carrier Company (often referred to as CCC or simply CRANE) is the manufacturer of heavy-duty construction equipment, such as mobile cranes, concrete mixers, drilling rigs, refueling trucks for airports, and much more. Individually designed and built custom chassis can accommodate a variety of specialized machinery for infrastructure projects, agriculture, waste collection, logging, mining, and so on. Some of the company’s design innovations include a half-cab crane carrier construction where the engine is placed beside the cabin. It allows for easier transportation of large crane booms. The history of the company can be traced back to 1946 when Robert Zeligson established a firm specializing in the remanufacturing of unused military trucks built for WWII.

The company started introducing brand new chassis of their own design to satisfy the customer’s needs more precisely. In 1974, CRANE introduced the new Centurion vehicle specifically designed to work as a garbage truck. Five years later, the new Centurion with low entry tilting cabin was unveiled. Its engine and cooling system radiator is mounted behind the cab. It comes with right-hand, left-hand, or dual steering with excellent turning radius for better maneuvering on tight city corners. For more than half a century, CCC has been one of the leading manufacturers on the mobile crane market. CRANE’s products are highly valued for their ruggedness, durability, and reliability, which are essential for heavy-duty applications.

Today, Crane Carrier Company offers a variety of low-entry or cab over heavy-duty Class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles with regular or crew cabs with ergonomic design and rugged, durable construction built to last. The majority of vehicles are powered by Cummins ISL9 diesel engines. A CNG configuration is also available. Heavy-duty drill and well service chassis are offered in 6x4, 6x6, 6x8, and 6x10 configurations. They come with rugged all-steel left side cabs and may feature the Cummins X11.9 or Detroit Diesel powerplants. Also, the company offers a variety of versatile chassis for agricultural applications, airport mobile refuelers, and related Crane Carrier accessories and parts.
