Arkon's XL179 RoadVise XL premium iPhone car holder mount is ideal for car dashboards, windshields, and other flat or slightly textured surfaces. This car mount features Arkon's RoadVise XL large phone and midsize tablet holder, which holds devices (even those with skins and ruggedized cases) up to 5" wide. The mount fits Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS, and iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Note 20, Note 10, and Note 9, Galaxy S20+, S20, S10, and S9, LG G7, G6, and G5, Nexus 6, and Nexus 5. It also holds 7-8 inch screen size tablets measuring up to 5 inches wide, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 and 8.0, Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 and 8.0, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, Galaxy Tab E 8.0, Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and Nexus 7. This mount is not recommended for phones or other devices without a case measuring 2.64 inches wide or less, including iPhone 8 or iPhone 7. For a dash mount compatible with smaller phones, Arkon recommends Model RV179. The car cell phone holder's spring-loaded mechanism expands and securely grips phones up to 5" wide. Arkon recommends using the RoadVise Holder with devices or with skins and ruggedized cases. The low-profile holder keeps rear smartphone cameras free for spontaneous pictures or videos. The car dock's base uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide a maximum surface bond. In order to prevent permanent indentation marks on soft vinyl, leather, or similar dashboard surfaces, Arkon recommends using the included 3M adhesive mounting disk. While powerfully strong, the sticky suction car mount is also easily removable and reusable. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, providing flexibility in viewing the smartphone from any angle. Garmin GPS devices can also be mounted by simply removing the holder and revealing the 17mm ball mount base. The XL179 is a solid car mount solution that's perfect for your needs.
