Dexron III ATF or equivalent, Racing ATF, or a 20W-50 non-synthetic engine oil are all approved fluids.
1.0 quarts of fluid.
Castrol SRF, Motul RBF-600, Wilwood 570, or equivalent are all approved brake fluids.
Use a 3/4" or 7/8" master cylinder.
There should be .080”-.100” of free play with new clutch discs.
Take the slave cylinder off the back of the transmission, but DO NOT remove the intermediate shaft retainer. Push the clutch actuator pins into the transmission case and measure the remainder of the pins protruding from the case. When the clutch pack is new, the pins protrude about 3/16” past the intermediate shaft retainer. If the distance from the protruding edge of the clutch actuator pins to the intermediate shaft retainer is about 1/16”, then the clutch pack needs to be serviced.
The 70001 transmission weighs 51.4 lbs (aluminum) and the 70010 transmission weighs 45.4 lbs (magnesium).
First, shift into low gear. Once the transmission is low gear, quickly shift out of low and shift into reverse.
Shift the transmission into Low gear then push the clutch pedal. Once the car reaches a suitable ground speed, let off the throttle and clutch pedal and shift into High gear.
Make sure the High/Low shift lever is in Neutral and shift the transmission into Reverse then push the clutch pedal. Reverse gear is not designed to handle high vehicle speeds.
There is air in the system. Make sure the line from the master cylinder is directly routed to the slave cylinder. Any loops or kinks can trap air and not allow the system to bleed properly. Also, be sure the master cylinder piston is returning to the rest position. In the rest position, the fill port (small hole) should be uncovered. If the fill port is covered the system will never bleed properly.
Mobil 1 15W-50 Synthetic Engine Oil is recommended.
1.5 quarts of fluid.
Castrol SRF, Motul RBF-600, Wilwood 570, or equivalent are all approved brake fluids.

71050 should be oriented so that the needle bearings go into 74017 first.
The 70101 transmission weighs 48.8 lbs.
The advantages of the Pro-Series 2.0 are as follows:
All Brinn bell-housings are cast from magnesium for both lightweight and strength requirements.
The difference is the dirt bell housing has a pump mount cast on top of the unit, while the asphalt bell housing has the pump mount cast on the left side of the unit.
