Custom seat covers have been individually designed to fit a particular year, make, and model of a vehicle. They should provide an exact, glove-like fit for your vehicle's seats.
A Coverking Custom Seat Cover is created through computer aided designs as well as computer aided manufacturing process so that it fits perfectly on the car or SUV’s factory installed seats. Also, Coverking Custom Fit seat covers are made-to-measure, which means that they have been created strictly in accordance with the make, model and year of manufacture of each vehicle. They even have appropriate space left for Side Impact Airbags for cars or SUVs where these are installed.
A universal seat cover has been designed to fit a wide range of seats. Generally, a universal seat cover will not provide a tight fit like Coverking's custom seat covers will. Universal covers function more as a protective drape over your car seats rather than an exact-fitting custom addition.

They are intened to COMPLEMENT your vehicle’s interior, not be an exaxct match to it.
Coverking reputedly manufactures some of the toughest seat covers that can tackle damages caused by our canine friends. As a matter of fact, there are seat covers that offer unique blockage against dog hair, gouges from claws or talons, slobber and other pet hazards. Coverking would recommend their Ballistic material for use with pets.
Yes, Coverking offers both Memory Foam and Seat Heaters for their range of seat covers. You can add either of these options to your order when you place it.
Coverking's Spacer Mesh™ material is a value priced material that is surprisingly one of the best fitting fabrics for seat covers. The unique mesh design is porous, so this is not the choice for liquid repellence. However, what Spacer Mesh lacks in liquid repellence is more than made up for in ventilation. Spacer Mesh is an excellent choice for seats with active cooling, and for use in hot and humid conditions. The unique spacer material cushions the occupant while allowing air to circulate from behind, helping to lessen or prevent perspiration after those long road trips. Unique and sporty two-tone color combinations, along with the excellent fit, great value and easy installation, make this one of our most popular seat cover choices.
To clean Spacer Mesh Seat Covers, simply remove them and hand wash with a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Air dry, do not machine dry. Do not use an iron.
Coverking's Cotton Seat Cover material is a value priced material that is a great all-round material for seat covers. The unique properties of Cotton - excellent feel, good fit and durability combined with a fair amount of protection. Cotton is available in several colors and is a great choice for families with kids, pets, and active lives.
To clean Cotton Seat Covers, simply remove them and hand wash with a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Air dry, do not machine dry.
Coverking's Ballistic™ Custom Seat Covers are made from the same super tough material used in soft-sided luggage. It is designed to protect for years, protecting the original seats from all the toughest life can throw at them; Sliding in and out with tools in the back pocket, sharp dog and cat claws, kids throwing food and drink, and other hazards that would cause a vehicle owner to cringe. Available in 3 popular colors, Ballistic material is the best choice for protecting under harsh conditions - however, be aware that there is a trade off in fit. Ballistic seat covers won't fit as well as some of our stretchable, more compliant materials such as Genuine CR-grade Neoprene. However, if you are looking for the ultimate protection, Ballistic should be at the top of your list.
To clean Ballistic material, simply remove them and hand wash with a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Air dry, do not machine dry. Do not use an iron.
Coverking's Neosupreme Custom Seat Covers are made from the same style materials used in their Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene covers, minus the actual neoprene rubber material. Unfortunately, some companies sell Neosupreme as if it were Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene - it is not. Neosupreme is a stylish material, but does not have the extra layer of genuine neoprene rubber. What it lacks in layers it makes up for in value, since Neosupreme offers the same style and a far reduced cost. Neosupreme is a perfect choice for people looking for an all-round material with great style. It will not stand up to the same level of abuse as genuine neoprene or other materials will, but will certainly be able to protect from minor spills and abrasion.
To clean Neosupreme, simply remove them and hand wash with a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Air dry, do not machine dry. Do not use an iron.
Step back to days in the wild west with Coverking's Saddleblanket Seat Covers - the same style and feel of genuine Saddleblanket material, with a modern Neotex accent on the sides. Saddleblanket has a unique look and offers the feel of riding with the extra thick saddleblanket fibers. Saddleblanket will stand up to moderate abuse, is very breathable but should not be counted on to block fluid spills or pets with claws.
To clean Saddleblanket Seat Covers, simply remove them and hand wash with a very mild detergent such as Woolite. Air dry, do not machine dry. Do not use an iron. Take extra care with the thick Saddleblanket fibers.
You simply will not believe it is not leather! Coverking's Leatherette™ is extremely leather like, often fooling people for the real thing. Leatherette offers several advantages over genuine leather - price, durability, and ease of care. Leatherette is actually very durable and stands up to harsher conditions than Saddleblanket, Neosupreme and even Genuine Neoprene materials. It is very soft to the touch and has a great look once installed. Clean up can usually be accomplished with a sponge and good leather/vinyl cleaner, negating the need of a washing machine.
There is no alternative to genuine, wet-suit quality CR-Grade Neoprene. The stylish looks, comfortable cushioning feel and perfect fit sets Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene on a different level. Unfortunately many seat cover companies sell a look-alike material as if it were neoprene - if you were lucky enough to purchase a Coverking Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene Seat Cover, you can rest assured you've purchased one of the best materials for fit, comfort and style. Durability is above average but not up to the levels of Ballistic or Leatherette.

What’s the difference and why does is it important to you? It is important because you, the customer, can unknowingly end up paying a lot more for seat covers that do not offer the same level of water penetration protection as you think you are ordering. Coverking's goal is to help educate you so you can avoid that scenario.
CR-Grade is a expensive rubber material that is often used in high-end surfing wetsuits. Many retailers are misrepresenting their so called neoprene seat covers and actually selling a cheaper product for nearly the same cost as our CR Grade Neoprene seat covers. The facts are that many seat covers are being sold under a variety of terms such as "Snugfit", "Neoprene", "Wetsuit" and "Waterproof". However, in many instances these seat covers do not utilize any "CR-Grade" Neoprene at all!
The fact is, many so called "waterproof" or "neoprene" seat covers are actually made from a fabric called "neotex" or “neosupreme” which is used in some, or all the panels of their seat covers. These type of seat covers are not CR-Grade Neoprene. CR-Grade Neoprene seat covers have a expensive CR-Grade Neoprene inner layer with an outer layer top fabric. This CR-Neoprene inner layer is not seen when the seat covers are installed and affords the most waterproof protection available.
Many retailers who are actually selling lower grade neotex or neosupreme seat covers as CR-Grade Neoprene despite the fact that their seat covers do not use any CR-Grade Neoprene in the seat cover.
Coverking’s Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene Seat Covers use genuine CR-Grade Neoprene - not a lower grade. CR-Grade is a expensive rubber material that is often used in high-end surfing wetsuits. It has great water resistance and a pleasing, cushion feel. Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene Custom Seat Covers can be easily spot cleaned or hand washed and air dried. Several two tone colors, including Hawaiian Prints. CR-Grade Neoprene is the best choice for active lifestyles. They are also the easiest seat covers to install.
Coverking's Neosupreme Custom Seat Covers are made from the same stylish materials used in their Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene covers, minus the actual neoprene rubber material. What it lacks in layers it makes up for in value, since Neotex offers the same style and a far reduced cost. Neosupreme is a perfect choice for people looking for an all-round material with great style. It will not stand up to the same level of abuse as genuine neoprene or other materials will, but will certainly be able to protect from minor spills and abrasion.
The fact is, if a company is not specifically noting "Geniune CR-Grade Neoprene" in their seat cover description, there is a reason why that is not being stated. What is being advertised may actualy be a lower line product, otherwise they would clearly advertise their product as Genuine CR-Grade Neoprene.
Place the back rest portion over the top of the seat. Pull down all the way so that there is no gap between the cover and the seat. Once you have the cover on the backrest you can run the straps under the seat cushion attach straps and tighten. Place the cushion cover over the seat cushion and tilt the lean back towards the rear row. Tuck all access material in between the cushion and lean back to secure the cover and move lean back to desired location.
A folding flat passenger seat is when your passenger seat folds forward flat 90 degrees to make a flat surface, like a desk.
It depends on the application. Either way you are guaranteed a perfect fit from Coverking.
Some seat covers are designed as a one piece cover. To install these you will first need to pull the lean back portion all the way over and down the seat. Then you will run the straps in between the cushion and lean back. Attach the strap clips together and tighten pull strap. Tilt the lean back all the way towards the rear row and tuck all excess material in between the cushion and lean back and return backrest to desired position.
For front seats, no. Some rear seat benches may need to be taken out in order to attach straps. Most rear bench seats can be removed by lifting up using force near the front (where your knees rest) to release the anchors. Some seats have a small plastic release lever located in the same position.
On specific models, their seat covers may require you to undo the carpet "flap" located at the bottom of the back of the seat. To do so you must un-attach two clips located underneath the bottom seat cushion creating a carpet flap. Once done, you can fold the flap up and tuck it into the seat cover and to attach the Velcro to the Coverking seat cover.
Vehicles that have a center console cover will require more force to close the lid all the way. In order for the pattern to accommodate the console they have to add elastic straps which will interfere with the closing of the lid. You must just use a little more force to close the lid all the way, but with time and use the console lid will become easier to close.
In general, installation is relaatively easy. Coverking Seat Covers simply slide over the seats and are held down with Velcro, hooks or straps that attach under the seat and are not visible from the outside. The front seat covers are easier to install than rear seat covers because front seats are more easily accessible. Typical installation on front seat covers take around 20-30 minutes. Rear seat in a car may require removal of the seats to install the seat covers. Rear seats on SUVs, require the shortest installation time. Detailed instructions are always included with your Coverking Seat Covers.
No, you do not need to remove your seats to install most Coverking Seat Covers. All front seat applications can be installed without removing the seats. It is often helpful to “unhook” the flap that joins the seat back to the seat bottom, but they do not need to be removed. For rear seats, it actually helps with the installation process (and provides a better fit) if the bottom section of the rear seat is removed, the seat cover installed, and then the seat bottom re-installed.
