Universal Boom Mat Damping Material (500200) by Design Engineering®. Thickness: 0.0787". Sample 3" x 3''. This Boom Mat Damping Material is a high quality simple and effective solution in eliminating the low frequency noise problems found in structure-borne vibrations caused by typical automotive noise sources. Simply trim to desired size, peel backing and apply to a clean surface. Boom Mat is constructed of a viscoelastic polymer layer protected by a durable aluminum wear surface and its strong adhesive backing is unaffected by extreme hot and cold temperatures and can be applied to horizontal, vertical and inverted areas on metal, plastic, fiberglass and most other automotive surfaces. Use as a first layer for areas with contours and bends for vibration damping needs.

UC Lite is also equally effective as a sound deadener that prevents the transfer of noise, including rattles and squeaks to ensure a "like new" driving experience and add longstanding value to your investment. UC Lite is recommended for use either alone, or as an added sound decoupler with Boom Mat vibration dampening material. To install, simply fasten mechanically to the area, or tack in place with Boom Mat’s Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive (# 010490). Hi-Temp Spray Adhesive works well on both vertical and overhead surfaces. Where to use: Floor pans, Fire walls, Transmission tunnels, Behind back seats, Inner fender wells, Trunk floors, Rear quarter panels, Under headliners, Kick panels.
