      • The Haldex Air Disc Brake ModulT features a unique combination of low weight and high performance – and an unbeatably broad field of applications.

      • Weighing in at a mere 31 kg – including the brake pads – it is the lightest 22.5" trailer brake on the market. DBT22LT is just the beginning. It will soon be followed by 17.5" and 19.5" versions for buses and trucks.

      ModulT

      Key benefits:

      • A single tappet mechanism with similar clamping force distribution to a twin tappet mechanism. The single-tappet mechanism also assures excellent pressure distribution. The result – in addition to superior braking capability – is even, perfect load distribution on the brake pads;
      • Simplified maintenance = low down time; Another innovative design aspect is the boltless snap-on brake pad retainer fitment, simplifying brake pad replacement. The entire construction requires just two bolts;
      • Modular - the same mechanism, sliding function design and even spare parts used on multiple brake sizes;
      • Stainless sliding pins requiring no lubrication, fit and forget solution. ModulT has just two sliding pins (instead of four) and a completely closed caliper;
      • Low weight with high performance and efficiency - double roller bearings for themechanism lever keep the hysteresis low;
      • Long service life - stainless steel sliding pins and inverted self-protecting mechanism bellows.

      What sets Haldex apart:

      • Low weight; the lightest air disc brake available
      • Cost efficiency; design solutions are driven by strong cost focus
      • No special tools needed for pad exchange;
      • Unsurpassed weight/brake torque ratio;
      • The mechanism bellow is folded inwards and thus better protected from external affection (stones/blister etc).

      ILAS Valve

      ILAS® III Valve

      • The ILAS® III Valve controls the lifting of one or more axles by sensing a load through the primary air suspension. Manual and Fully Automatic versions are available. Both versions offer an adjustable pressure range to meet any lift axle application.

      • The Manual version automatically lowers a lift axle when a load is present and is manually raised by pushing in a button. The Fully Automatic version can raise and lower the axle without manual intervention. ILAS® III Valve takes the place of current systems, which use multiple components, fittings and plumbing.

      ILAS®-E Valve

      • The Haldex ILAS®-E Air Suspension System Valve can control the position of the lift axles through an electrical connection. A 12V power supply is needed to keep the lift axles in the raised position. When power is removed, the lift axles will automatically be lowered. This can be simply controlled via an electrical switch.

      • When coupled with the Haldex TRS System, the lift axles can be controlled to raise and lower automatically as the air suspension reacts to changing loads in the trailer. The ILAS® E/TRS System can be adjusted to react at various pressure conditions, making the system versatile for single or multiple lift axle trailers.

      • The ILAS® E simplifies the lift axle system with four push-to-connect fittings and a standard DIN electrical connection. Traditional lift axle systems are often complex with multiple components and numerous fittings. The Haldex design combines all the functionality into an easy-to-use system.
