Koyo is committed to manufacturing radiators that meet and even exceed OE standards. Koyo radiators do not require any drilling, cutting, or relocating, yet the company highly recommends leaving the installation to a professional mechanic.

      Recommended Antifreeze Coolant

A high-quality antifreeze and coolant protect your engine by lowering water's freezing point and raising its boiling point. They protect metal components of your radiator and cooling passages within your vehicle's engine against rust and corrosion. It also provides proper lubrication for the engine water pump.

It is important to use proper coolant in your Koyo OE Aftermarket Replacement Radiator. The company highly recommends you to use a coolant grade listed in your vehicle owner’s manual.

When a new Koyo OE Aftermarket Replacement Radiator is installed, you should perform a complete cooling system flush and fill it with a new coolant mixed 50/50 with distilled, de-ionized or de-mineralized water. Neglecting a full cooling system flush or using the wrong coolant may result in corrosion, leaks, and premature wear and tear, not to mention other stresses on your engine's cooling system.

    • The Difference

Koyo is a Japanese company established as Ejiri Radiator repair shop in July of 1956 in Nagoya, Japan (Aichi Prefecture). Twelve years later, in 1968, Ejiri Radiator opened a radiator and oil cooler factory in Nagoya. The company then separated their production facilities from the repair facilities and began manufacturing radiators. Two years later, in 1970, Ejiri Radiator was renamed to Koyo Radiator Manufacturing and began expanding all over Japan. Koyorad quickly developed into an industry leading aftermarket radiator supplier.
