1996 Mazda Miata
Lumen® - 7" Round Chrome CCFL Halo Headlights
Bought these for my 1996 miata, overall it’s a very nice halo headlight. Very easy to wire the halo into a running light wire. The only downside is of course the reflective housing. You have to take into consideration that they aren’t a hid/projector bulb housing like newer cars use so don’t expect a light bar output lol, the light output is going to be on the dimmer side. I ordered a 2 sided led bulb at first and the pattern reflected out a V pattern so I ended up changing the bulb to a 7 sided led to make sure it reflects properly somewhat like a halogen bulb would. I’d highly recommend to someone trying to facelift their older car with a more oem+ look! Thank you!

Looks Good But Cant See Good

These headlights are super nice and look really good and you get a tons of stares but then when it comes to the actual functionality of them and being able to see at night its not as good. You cant see much its little to nothing.

Easy Camaro Upgrade
Lumen® - 7" Round Chrome CCFL Halo Headlights
Camaro headlight upgrade, changed headlights with no modifications to headlight housing. Looks great and easy to install. See photos of finish install. I would recommend as an upgrade to any older Camaro, mine is a 1973. Did a review back in Jan 2021 but added photos this time. Halo wired to side parking lights 12 inches from headlight, easy.

Look great, but don't expect to drive at night
Lumen® - 7" Round Black CCFL Halo Headlights
These look awesome in the daytime, but even though they are DOT approved, don't expect to do much night driving with them. I have antique plates so this is not much of an issue for me. They are about 50% as bright as my stock headlamps, which were already pretty dim, but wiring the halo into my running lights looks amazing! Build quality could definitely be better but they aren't bad for the price. If you plan to drive at night often, save for the better halo 7 inchers, or get the chrome backed version of these. I went with the black only for the look. I also cheaped out when I bought bulbs so take it all with a grain of salt.

CHROME vs BLACK

I am confused over the negative comments over the brightness of these black background headlamps when Lumen offers the exact same headlamps with a chrome background! You know going in that black will not reflect as much light as chrome! You can have your cake and eat it too! Either black or chrome, they are BOTH DOT approved!

Nice Upgrade to My Older Camaro
Lumen® - 7" Round Chrome CCFL Halo Headlights
Direct replacement for seal beam headlights. I ordered two 3 prong high and low beam halogen lamps for them and my old wire harness fits with no modifications. I like this option because no modification to headlight housing. Use all stock hardware but halo ring lights up white when I connected them to my running light wiring. So when parking lights are on Halo also comes on and when I turn headlights on all the way on I get full brightness of headlight with bright lights option also. Give the car a little modern look with no big modification to anything other then connecting two Halo wires to my parking light wiring ( just splice in ). I would love to be able to post a photo because a picture is worth 1000 words. I would recommend this option over having to cut up light housing to fit LED option lights at 3 times the cost.

Not Practical
Lumen® - 7" Round Black CCFL Halo Headlights
With a black non-reflective backing, you cant even see at night with these. Installed in a JK Wrangler the bulbs dont fit nicely, I have the bulbs taped in. The halo works and looks great. Bottom line is they look great in the daytime, but don't even function as headlights.

No Good
Lumen® 77CCFL-BLK - 7" Round Black CCFL Halo Headlights
These head lights looks so good, they fit it my Miata. After about a month one of the silver things that cover the headlight in the middle snapped off so I tried to fix it, while I waited for warranty to come Claim was denied due to the fact that I tried to fix them.

Bought this set of headlight together with the HID upgrade for my 1995 Mazda Miata. Perfect fit, easy install, high quality, very bright. Just need to adjust the beam and that's it. Highly recommend.
