Whether it’s your morning coffee or the mud and snow off your boots that carries harsh chemicals and solvents, Minimizer’s latest innovation is designed to protect the interior of your truck for years to come. Minimizer’s engineers use cutting edge technology to scan the interior measurements and angles of each specific make and model semi cab to ensure an exact fit. A retention hook mounted to the base of the shift stick is designed to keep your floor mat in place. No offshore manufacturing or outsourcing here, Minimizer Floor Mats are designed and manufactured in the USA at our plant in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. Floor Mats are custom made to fit your rig.
Corrosion shortens the useful life of your fleet and can pose significant safety hazards. It often happens in the “hot zone”, the portion of the vehicle residing up to four feet above the road’s surface, including the cab interior. Corrosion can attack cab interiors in several ways. Deicing chemicals, solvents, dirt, grime, oil and gas can saturate cab floorboards and materials. This causes decay and corrosion from the inside out. Costly electrical and control related components can also be affected. Often times, this destruction is not readily apparent but is hidden by carpet in the cab. These materials are often introduced into the cab by way of routine entry and egress, poor glass and door seal leaks, or even through the vehicle’s HVAC system. Interior cab corrosion is often not a focus of the manufacturer. Cabs are typically manufactured with minimal corrosion protection.
The Road to Profitability begins with proper preventative maintenance. Reducing your rig’s exposure to harsh chemicals, solvents, or other dirt and grime means less downtime for repairs and more uptime for being on the road generating revenue. This equals tangible dividends for your fleet’s bottom line. Make no mistake: Minimizer Floor Mats are the solution to prevent interior cab corrosion and avoid costly repairs and maintenance.
