Universal 90° Right Angle Quick-Change Diesel Compression Test Adapter for MV5535 Digital Diesel Compression Test Kit by Mityvac®. Diesel engines utilize a fuel injector on each cylinder to inject fuel for combustion. Although they do not use spark plugs to ignite the fuel, most utilize glow plugs to aid cold starts. In order to access the compression within a cylinder, an adapter is required which replaces either the injector or the glow plug.
