OSC’s understands that it very important that the radiator goes in as easily as the existing radiator comes out and that it looks and functions like the original unit.

Complete Radiators 100% tested up to three times during production

When producing a radiator OSC tests the transmission and engine oil coolers prior to installation into the tank. The radiator core is tested prior to assembly and then once the assembly is complete the unit is tested again.

Enhancements added to solve original design failures and to improve the life of high mileage vehicles.

Today’s vehicles are on the road longer sometimes reaching 500,000 miles. They are also running hotter to meet emission regulations. OSC is proud to say it has been able to solve many OE design problems with enhanced units. This is accomplished by adding more fins per inch, thicker cores and even larger transmission coolers to overcome the added heat associated with these vehicles.

Transmission and engine oil coolers designed to meet OES design with copper concentric, aluminum concentric, stainless steel and aluminum plated coolers. OSC prides itself on following OE standards for construction and material type for longevity of the transmission and engine.

State of the Art Testing, Cycle, Vibration, Burst and Environment. OSC realizes that testing is a very important part of learning how to continue to improve product.

  • Cycle testing is flowing preheated fluid thru the unit as the pressure is raised and decreased to imitate driving conditions a minimum of 30,000 cycles.
  • Vibration testing is used to simulate pot holes, curbs and off road use.
  • Burst testing is the gradual increase of pressure till the unit fails pointing out the weakest area of the unit.
  • Environmental testing consist of salt and chemical spray imitating road conditions found driving during winter and coastal conditions.

  • The results are all used to create a unit with greater product longevity.

    Premium grade materials used for ensuring added product longevity

    OSC understands that when producing the best product it starts with the highest grade raw materials. There are multiple levels of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, rubber and plastic. Cutting the quality in only one of these materials jeopardizes the whole unit.

    OSC once again is leading the way in coverage. They have the unit that you need for replacement and crash markets. OSC is continuing to add new numbers to expand its radiator line to over 2000 sku’s.

    OSC understands that replacing a heater is major job and very time consuming. This is why they do not batch test like other manufactures. All heaters go thru an intense high pressure test to insure there are no leaks.

    Twin Tube Design

    Outer tube provides a level of extra protection against road debris. The shock/strut continues to function if the outer tube is damaged and the inner tube remains intact.

    Nitrogen Gas Charge

    Reduces aeration offering a greater range of control over a wider variety of road conditions as compared to non-gas units.

    4-Lip Teflon Banded Piston Seal

    The 41ip design provides a superior sealing solution that protects against fluid contamination. Teflon banded piston seals offer a low friction solution that delivers longer service life.

    Micro Polished Chrome Plated Piston Rod

    Chrome plating provides extra protection against pitting and rust.

    Multi Stage Shim Valves

    Multi-stage valve, which eliminates oil starvation at high speed and greatly reduces heat and pressure build up. The benefit is smooth and rapid recovery from impacts to the vehicles suspension system.
