Semi Truck Receiver Hitches

No matter what you drive or what you want to tow, we have the trailer hitch to do the job. Our selection includes light-duty Class I receiver hitches that can tow up to 2000 lbs. of gross trailer weight, which are ideal for utility trailers and hauling dirt bikes and ATVs, up to Class V hitches with 2-1/2” receivers for heavy-duty trucks that can tow up to 20,000 lbs. gross trailer weight. Although some are universal fit, most of our hitches are designed for specific make, model year applications, for an easy bolt-on installation.

Before you can select a hitch, you’ll need to know certain specifications: the Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and the towing capacity of your vehicle, including tongue weight. The GTW is the total weight of the trailer plus the weight of whatever you’re carrying on the trailer including all fluids, supplies, etc. You can find the towing capacity of your vehicle in the owner’s manual. Towing capacity on some vehicles may vary according to engine and transmission. Tongue weight is typically rated to be about 10-15% of the GTW.

If the towing capacity shows that your vehicle will easily handle the GTW, then select a hitch with the weight capacity to pull your trailer. If your vehicle has significantly more capacity than your trailer, for example if it can tow 5,000 lbs. but your trailer’s GTW is only 3,000 lbs., you may want to install a hitch that can handle 5,000 lbs. if you think you may want more capacity for future use. Once you know the weight capacity needed, it’s easy to find the right hitch for your vehicle by plugging in the make, model, and year. We offer model specific hitches for all popular cars, pickup trucks, and SUVs, as well as universal hitches for applications like RVs.

The model specific trailer hitches we offer are products of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Each of our hitch manufacturers carefully examines and measures the unique body type and frame design of a particular vehicle, and then engineer a hitch that will install easily and work perfectly. Although most hitches are the exposed kind and clearly visible, for select models we offer concealed hitches, where the main structure of the hitch is hidden from view under the vehicle, with only the receiver opening protruding. In addition to a complete line of model specific hitches, we also offer a variety of universal hitches designed for various applications. These include bumper mount hitches and RV hitches that can be used for towing or increasing carrying capacity with a hitch-mount bike rack or cargo carrier, and a unique 14,000 lb. capacity spring cushioned hitch with a receiver tube that extends up to 7” and swings up to 12” to make trailer hookup easy for one person.
