There are two ways that the paint on your Boat or truck is damaged: scratches, swirls, and water spots that create voids in the paint surface, and contaminants that collect and embed on the paint surface. If not removed, surface contaminants can cause further scratches and swirl marks when the paint is polished or waxed. Once the clay pad and DA remove all the contaminants that had been stuck to or become embedded in the paint surface, compound and/or polish can be used to remove scratches, swirl marks, acid rain damage and other imperfections.
