RS-R About

Racing Studio-R or RS-R began life as a wholesale distributor in Osaka, Japan. Unsatisfied with the quality of parts RS-R were able to obtain, RS-R started their own factory in September 1980. RS-R strive to create only high-performance/high-quality products that do not exist in offerings from other companies. RS-R do that by actively embracing the trial of motorsports competition such as drag races, N1, sprints, drifting, rallies and Super GT.

Now RS-R are in the 21st century, where the social climate and technological innovation changes quickly. RS-R want to pursue what customers need, and what is best for society. In order to do that, RS-R are committed to develop and manufacture products that satisfy the demand for consumers now and in the future – without forgetting their beginning through the best technology and service.

March 1968

RS-R are founded as Toa Auto Parts in Osaka Japan.

January 1972

RS-R begin the manufacture and sales of origional automotive products such as sports shocks, mufflers, and suspensions.

March 1978

TMC, an automotive parts manufacturer and wholesaler in Osaka, Japan is founded.

October 1980

RS-R is officially opened 12 years after their humble begining as a sports muffler manufactuerer and R and D center in Toyonaka.

January 1998

Due to high demand RS-R begins distribution in America through RS-R site.

April 2001

RS-R opens a new R and D center at our Osaka headquarters.

January 2003

To further solidify the RS-R brand in America RS-R USA is founded to bolster consumer engagement.

January 2008

RS-R KK and TMC KK are consolidated into one company to streamline development of product development.

April 2010

With a rapidly increasing desire for RS-R's high quality automotive parts a 2nd R and D center is opened at their Osaka headquarters to meet demand.
