Black Diamond™ Cylinder Head Gasket by Sinister Diesel®. Replace a leaky, blown head gasket on your Duramax diesel engine with this Sinister Diesel Duramax head gasket. Thanks to a multi-layer steel construction, this gasket will withstand the extreme temperatures and pressure generated by a turbo diesel engine, so you can count on it to last for a long time. A 5-layer stainless steel construction, combined with an adaptive fluoroelastomer (FKM) coating ensure a tight seal for each cylinder. That means fluids and gases both will be kept in their proper places, leading to smooth engine operation.

The FKM coating ensures a total seal of the rough cast iron surface of the Duramax iron block and aluminum cylinder head. Sold individually, you'll need a driver side and passenger side gasket.
