Alto™ Rebuild Kit by Sun Coast®. Sun Coast rebuild kits utilize the latest proven friction materials and steel technology from industry leading companies such as Alto and Raybestos. Sun Coast works directly with these companies to design and manufacture proprietary Sun Coast exclusive product lines, giving the end user uncompromised quality throughout the entire transmission. Sun Coast has designed these kits in house to exact specifications for many in tents, including but not limited to towing, sled pulling, racing or simply having a vehicle to get from point A to point B. Not included in this kit but highly recommended by Sun Coast is a complete line of billet triple disc torque converters ranging from 1800 stall to approximately 3000 RPM (manufactured in house), 300M billet shaft options, custom valve body options ranging from 5-6 speed conversions and trans brake SFI approved billet steel and aluminum flex-plates, SFI approved transmission jackets and much more.

Governor pressure sensor, this is an upgrade that can be included in the kit or purchased separately. It has proven itself to be the most reliable governor pressure solenoid on the market. This part consists of a 4L60E EPC solenoid which is made from aircraft grade T-56 Billet Aluminum, this means no warping, leaking, sweating, or cracking and means it provides far more consistent pressures. SunCoast's billet 1-2 servo has 16% more apply area and provides more band holding power in second gear. Its easy to install part improves 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and features improved seal design which conserves pump volume.

Assemblies with Torque Converters

Sun Coast Converters, Inc.(SCCI) assemblies with torque converters are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser/end user for a period of 36 months. This warranty shall terminate at the 3 year anniversary date from the time of the original invoice. SCCI reserves the right to amend this warranty at any time. SCCI’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, subject to the provisions set forth herein of any parts, which upon examination by SCCI, are found to be defective. SCCI reserves the right to determine the course of action in regard to repair and/or replacement of any and all warrantable products and/or services. The warranty does not cover fluids and filters. Third party electrical components are warranted for 90 days from the original invoice date.

What is Not Covered Under This Warranty

This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been tampered with, improperly installed, damaged as the result of accident or neglect, improperly repaired or altered by the owner or his agent/tech, or abused resulting in broken, fractured, or sheered shafts and/or gears. This warranty shall not apply to any products damaged due to low fluid conditions, competitive use (i.e. sled pulling or drag racing), or any commercial applications which tow weights in excess of manufacturer’s GCVWR. SCCI will not warranty broken, sheered or fractured shafts and/or drums; or any damage associated with broken shafts or drums. SCCI will not be liable for any claims, including claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages that may arise under the provisions of this warranty.

Transmission assemblies

Sun Coast Converters Inc. (SCCI) Transmission assemblies are warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser/end user for a period of 12 months. This warranty shall terminate at the 1 year anniversary date from the time of the original invoice. SCCI liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement, at its option, subject to the provisions set forth herein, of any parts which upon examination by SCCI are found to be defective. SCCI reserves the right to determine the course of action in regard to repair and/or replacement of any and all warrantable products and/or services. All warranted parts that have been replaced become sole property of Sun Coast Converters Inc. Third party electrical components are covered for 90 days.

What is Not Covered Under This Warranty
