WARRANTY

TRW warrants that the manufactured products delivered by TRW shall conform to TRW’s specifications, or other specifications agreed to in writing, and shall be free from defects in workmanship. You are eligible for the benefits of this warranty if you are the original purchaser of a TRW brake or steering and suspension product. The warranty period for brake or steering and suspension products shall be 12 months from date of installation onto the vehicle, or 18 months from delivery of the product to you, whichever occurs first.

No warranty herein extended by TRW shall apply to any products that

• Have been modified or altered by persons other than TRW’s authorized personnel or authorized service providers
• Are defective due to misuse, neglect, improper installation, soldering, or accident
• Are defective due to defective third party product combined with TRW’s products, whereby the defect in TRW’s product would not have occurred but for the third party defective product
• Are received from any source other than TRW or its authorized resellers
• Have an insignificant defect, including without limitation any defects that do not affect the use of the products intended by TRW’s customer
• Have defects arising out of parts, software, or other material or instructions provided by TRW’s customer
• Have defects caused by use in a manner not approved in the applicable specifications or maintenance requirements
• Disassembled or incomplete or used in commercial applications
