Chevy CK Pickup 1981, High Performance Oil Pump Intermediate Shaft by Melling®. A new Melling oil pump shaft is recommended to complete every new oil pump install. Melling offers a complete line of high-performance drive shafts for selected high-performance oil pump applications. A new high-performance oil pump shaft is necessary due to possible metal fatigue, cracking and even twisting damage of the old shaft even when the part appears to be in good condition.

Melling Replacement Parts (excluding water pumps) – 12 months.

Melling Replacement water pumps only – 36 months.

Melling High Performance Parts – no warranty (will replace for defect only).

This warranty does not apply to any product that has been altered, tampered with, such as taken apart, misused, subject to excessive operating conditions, malfunctions because of foreign particles such as engine dirt or pieces of other deteriorating components, products used in a vehicle that has been altered for other than intended purposes. Also, performance products are not covered under this warranty including products used for off-road or racing purposes.

Great quality oil pump, fits and works perfect, oil pressure is excellent, it was ease to install this pump. Oil pressure is excellent even on a high rpm. Would recommend and would buy again.
