Automatic transmissions can leak and develop shifting problems when friction surfaces become worn in clutch packs or bands. This kit contains the gaskets, seals, O-rings, bushings, and friction discs for the clutch packs and/or new bands, as required, that will have your automatic transmission sealed and shifting smoothly.
A leaky transmission makes a mess wherever you park, and if ignored, a low fluid level can cause operating problems. When a transmission gets old and worn, it can begin to slip during shifts, indicated by a telltale flare of engine speed during the shift. This rebuild kit contains all the gaskets and seals to make sure your transmission is leak-proof. It also contains the various O-rings, spacers, clips, thrust washers and bushings needed to restore internal clearances to specification. New friction discs for the clutch packs and/or new bands are included to make sure components lock together properly for crisp shifts. Finally, a new filter is included to make sure only clean fluid reaches critical areas.
