If your car or truck has sealed beam headlights, you may have felt excluded from the advancements in custom lighting that owners of vehicles with composite headlights have long enjoyed. Thanks to Lumen, you won’t be left out any longer. Now, with our Lumen sealed beam conversion headlights, you too can experience brilliant illumination, safer driving, and head-turning looks that are the product of powerful, efficient and durable LEDs, projector beam technology, and state-of-the-art design. Plus you get durability that far exceeds standard halogen sealed beams.

Unlike some headlights that only use LEDs for accent lighting, Lumen LED Sealed Beam Projector Headlights are full-LED lights. And these aren’t just any LEDs but LED chips from Cree, the industry leader. Cree LEDs produce light of superior quality, with more lumens, while using less energy and lasting longer than comparable LEDs, 30,000 hours or more. Lumen’s artistic designers have creatively arranged these LEDs to form distinctive, eye-catching full-circle halos and projector beams, creating a unique display that will give your car or truck a one-of-a-kind appearance, and at the same time make it more visible to other drivers for safer cruising day and night.

From the day they were first seen on European luxury cars, enthusiasts coveted halo ring headlights for their own cars and trucks. The aftermarket responded with composite halo ring headlights, and now Lumen brings this exciting feature to sealed beam headlight vehicles. But with Lumen you get much more than just halos. On these headlights the full-circle halos can be configured as eye-catching, bright white halos that function as Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) or illuminate whenever the headlights are on. But just like on many late model cars, they can also be set-up in “switchback” mode and change to flashing amber when the turn signals are switched on.

No matter how black the night you’ll be able to clearly see far in front and to the sides of your vehicle with your Lumen headlights’ projector beams, also illuminated by Cree LEDs. Projector beams provide light that is far superior to that created by conventional parabolic reflectors like those in your OE sealed beams, which is why they can be found on most new cars and trucks. With their small elliptical reflectors and clear lenses, projector beams produce a sharper, more focused beam of light without the scatter loss that is common with parabolic reflectors. Lumen projector beams direct more light where you need it for better visibility and safer driving in darkness and inclement weather, without blinding oncoming drivers. These Lumen headlights include both High and Low beam. The low beam produces 2400 lumens, while the high beam emits 4800 lumens, and the light color temperature is a cool blue 6500-7000K.

Along with the aforementioned advantages, Lumen LED headlights are impervious to shock and vibration, so they’re perfect for vehicles used on off-road adventures. They also have an IP67 ingress protection rating, the highest rating available for protection from the intrusion of dust and moisture. Best of all, Lumen LED projector beams are a true bolt-on replacement for your standard sealed beams – installation is easy and only minor wiring work is needed for halo operation. They meet all U.S. government DOT federal highway standards including FMVSS108-1998. With a life expectancy of 30,000 hours or more, Lumen LED headlights will not only deliver superior lighting with unique style, but they’ll most likely be the last headlights you’ll ever need to buy for your car or truck. Lumen is so confident in their performance that they back these lights with a 5-year warranty.

Installation of 7" Round Black Projector LED Headlights w/Switchback Halo on 2012 and 2015 Jeep JKU
Lumen® - 7" Round Black Projector LED Headlights with Switchback Halo
1) No installation instructions included with these two pairs of headlight. For $300.00 per pair, seems installation instruction could have been included. Had to print out a PDF off TRUCKiD's website. 2) Product claims to be Plug-n-Play, yet the H13 bulb connectors provided would not lock into the factory connectors. The only way I could make these work was to shave ~1.0mm off the vertical side of the triangular locking tab in order to get them to snap in and lock. 3) The headlamps themselves have three tabs molded into the aluminum housing that are designed to correspond with the three recesses located within the factory bezel. Unfortunately the headlamp housing's tabs are molded at just slightly larger in diameter across the width of the housing than the factory bezel receivers resulting in the housing not fully seating properly within the factory bezel. The only way I could correct this issue was to file ~0.5mm off all three aluminum tabs on each housing, then it fit perfectly! this was not just unique to my 2012 JKU. I also installed these same headlamps on my 2015 JKU with the exact same issues as noted above. As for general product quality and performance, I'm quite happy with the outcome. Just be aware you may experience a few hiccups during the installation process, but nothing insurmountable if you just use common sense!

First, instructions with the lights would be nice. Second, they should including the necessary materials to install these lights. I still have to go and get the rest of the materials needed to install them. For now they remain in the box until I can go to the auto parts store. I’m not impressed.

These headlights are incredibly bright, look really sharp, and have a great halo a fact for the day time running lights. I'd highly recommend them for any Jeep owner.

Lumen sets the standard for others to meet. These lights look great on my Jeep Wrangler, and provide daytime running lights, something Jeeps don't normally have. The lights are brighter than standard lights, but don't cause other drivers to flash their lights at you. If you like being different, and being able to see at night, these are the lights.

Lumen® - 7" Round Black Projector LED Headlights with Switchback Halo
I have had these for one yearish, I put them on my show truck that I don't drive too often. The other day I got into my truck and the battery was dead. As I charged the battery, part of one of the head lights turned on without the key or headlight switch being turned on. As soon as I go the truck running, only the high beams worked. No dims and the one light would stay on after the switch was turned off and key was out of ignition. This is weird, but they are good looking lights.

Looks good. Quality not so sure, one month later side lights not working. Installation not bad.

These headlights look awesome! After install one Canbus vibrated and buzzed loudly. TRUCKiD sent out a new set and after installing both canbus units buzzed but only slightly with no vibration. I'm hoping that it okay. They've been in for a couple of weeks now with no problems. Love the looks...hopefully they'll last a long time.

Lumen® SB7HLG201D-BLK - 7" Round Black Projector LED Headlights with Switchback Halo
I installed these headlights on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler, and am very happy with them. The original headlights on the jeep were lousy, and I really wanted to find a pair of headlights that enabled us to see clearly at night. These lights are outstanding! They drastically improved our night vision on the road. I already had off-road LED lights, but could not legally use them on the road. With these new headlights I can now see clearly at night, and remain street legal. An added bonus, is that these lights look really good too. The Switchback Halo lights, not only add to the safety of being seen, but they look cool too. I powered the DRL Halo lights using an "Add a Circuit" connector at the fuse box, to a circuit powered with the ignition on. Then I ran it to a switch inside, so I could have the option of turning the Halo lights off if I ever chose to. A side point: since I live in the Northwest, and get a lot of snow in the winter, I was concerned with the LED lights not producing enough heat to melt the snow. But these lights do seem to get warm enough, that I'm sure they will melt the frost and snow off of them. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a set of headlights, but am very happy that I did.
