Ford Excursion 2000, G-Power™ Platinum Spark Plug by NGK®. With Copper Core. Iridium Long Life Plug - Patented Iridium Alloy Plug (90% Ir) with Platinum Ground Strap. Platinum spark plugs by NGK are designed to improve fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and provide quicker starts while remaining durable under high heat. With 0.6 mm platinum alloy tip laser welded to the center electrode, platinum spark plugs provide maximum spark with minimal voltage required and ensure precise gap during the life of the plug.

Another Great Experience
The spark plugs were nicely priced they were shipped in a timely manner. They we what I expected good quality. I had no problem with installation.

The Title Looks Good

These Plugs Work As They Are Supposed To
I installed all 8 NGK G-power plugs and that gave me improvement of mpg ratio for almost 2 liters! That impressed me a lot. Will order them next time too.

After Install
I finely installed these NGK 4998 plugs and I guess I was right. I now have a misfire on number 6 code so am going to put back my Bosch 9661. It might be the plugs or might not but thats the only thing different about the Jeep. I will will let you know after I replace them

NGK 4998 Plugs
After looking on the computer for a good price on NGK 4998 plugs for the Jeep I found TRUCKiD which had a great price for them $6.75 ea. Every other web page was asking $10 to $15 ea, one site was selling them for $26.31 ea. Which really makes me wonder if these plugs are the real thing. Like the old saying goes if the deal is too good to be true it usually is not. So am really not in a big hurry to install these until I find out if these are real NGK 4998 or cheap knock offs that will destroy my motor.

Tune Up.
Definitely noticed a slight horsepower increase after installation. Throttle response improved as well.
