The RocketBox Pro Cargo Box delivers security and protection for your gear at an affordable price. These rugged ABS plastic cargo boxes have a wind-cheating aerodynamic shape with a textured matte black finish. Quick dial mounting system allows fast and easy mounting to round, square, factory, and most aero crossbars, with forward mounting hardware for improved hatch clearance. The RocketBox includes dual-sided opening for easy access from both sides of the vehicle, push button security to ensure the lid is closed, and can be locked with the 2 included keys.

If you're going on a trip and you've got too much gear to fit inside your vehicle, or maybe you'd like to use the room for people instead of cargo, you can make use of that wasted space with a sturdy, large capacity cargo box. A cargo box is the carrier of choice if you want the utmost in security and protection for your gear. The RocketBox is Yakima's economical line of cargo boxes, but you get a lot of features for your dollar. Constructed from tough, durable ABS plastic with an attractive matte black finish, these cargo boxes are aerodynamically shaped for reduced wind noise and a quiet ride, and less drag for better fuel economy.
Available in 11, 12, and 14 cu. ft. capacities, each box features a dual-sided opening lid, for easy loading/unloading on either side of the vehicle. The box is lockable and comes with 2 keys, and with the Yakima SKS system every Yakima accessory can be cored to open with one key. For additional security, a button must be pushed to open the lid. The Quick-dial mounting hardware makes installation a snap on round, square, factory, and most aero crossbars. The mounts can be adjusted for position inside the box to accommodate different crossbars spreads, and also to position the box forward if necessary for hatch opening clearance. 4 Tie-down points are inside the box to assist with securing cargo (tie-downs sold separately).
The RocketBox Pro 11 is 89"L x 24"W x 16"H and weighs 38 lbs. Long and lean, it's perfect for snowboards and skis up to 82.6", or a weekend's worth of gear, and its narrow width leaves room on your rack for other accessories. The RocketBox Pro 12 is 58"L x 36"W x 16"H and weighs 30 lbs. Its shorter length makes it ideal for smaller cars, hatchbacks and CUVs, but it's still large enough to haul gear for up to 2 campers. Coming in at a spacious 74"L x 33"W x 16"H, and weighing 38 lbs., the RocketBox Pro 14 is the largest capacity RocketBox and perfect for CUVs, SUVs, trucks and wagons, and hauling gear for up to 3 campers.
Each RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Box comes with 2 keys and detailed, illustrated installation/user instructions. The cargo box is backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
