Many front mat applications are vehicle specific, while others are determined to be the best possible fit for the application from many shapes and sizes. Some rear mat sizes are designed to be trimmed so that they may be customized to fit almost any vehicle.
Rear mats are designed to be trimmed so that they may be customized to fit almost any vehicle. How? The outer part of such mats is designed to be trimmed. To make the process even easier, the mats come with score lines. All you need for size customization is a pair of household scissors or a utility knife. For those two-piece items that can be linked to form a one-piece mat, the center tabs used to connect the sides must not be cut off. The mat should contour the rear footwell to provide better protection for its sides, so don't forget to double-check the sizing before trimming. Some mats have no trim accommodations.
