Harwood® - 4" Windshield Cowl Lift-Off Fiberglass Hood (Unpainted)

I recently got this hood and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of it. The gel coat finish easily passes as glossy paint it's one of the best finishes I've seen can tell whoever applied the coating knew what they were doing. Fitment was spot on, just had to adjust the sides to line up, other than that latch system works great and hood seems very sturdy. The 5" hood comes with rear screens/latch and bolts right up, easiest install I've ever done. A far as looks it has a concave shape, looks close to the Copo Camaro style which is what I wanted, definitely makes people wonder what's under the hood and gets a lot of attention on the highway. One of my biggest worries I had was drivability, but it's easy to see over the cowl just raised my seat, I can still easily see the passenger side for curbs etc. didn't take long to get use to it. It arrived by ups freight on the date ups setup earlier with me having never used ups freight. I'm happy how it arrived, no scratches/box undamaged. Overall, I'm happy I chose Harwood, they deserve more credit than they get, it's really a well made hood.

Shipping was super fast (even to Canada). Packaging was great. Zero scratches or marks. The gel gloss coating is mirror finish. Some trimming is required but its super easy to do. Very happy with the hood!!

Hood arrived in a timely manner with no damage. Fitment on the car was good. Gaps and alignment also pretty good. Was able to transfer hardware from origional hood to the glass hood easily. Prop rod install was easy and works well. Overall, I like the quality and fitment of the product. Harwood hoods are quality products and I would purchase their products again. Purchase and shipping totalled $900 which was an expensive venture but comparable with other suppliers. Dealing with TRUCKiD.com was trouble free. I have used them for other products with satisfaction.

The hood is very nice but I also bought the GTOG8TA® - grille kit in chrome to go with the hood because they were supposed to fit it. But they do not fit very well. They don't mount flush, stick out a little and if you try trimming the edge you risk making the chrome peel.
