Ford Excursion 2001, Speedometer LED Lighting Kit by US Speedo®. 6 Bulbs, 1/2". Nothing could be simpler: untwist your existing incandescent twist-lock instrument panel bulbs and twist these LED replacements in. It's simple to eliminate hot spots, eliminate burned-out bulbs and change the color of the display all at once. It's as simple as changing a taillight bulb, once you have the instrument panel exposed.

Twist In / Twist Out Blue LED Bulbs
The blue light is great. They are brighter than the stock bulbs and light my console better and are easier on my eyes. They were easy to install, but the first time I turned the lights on only one worked. I had to pull them out and lift the bulb contacts slightly to make contact with the circuit board and they work beautifully. I went to "YouTube," and viewed a couple of videos on how to change the bulbs, so it only took about 15 minutes to complete the task.

Good Product
I just installed this today, and it looks wonderful. They are just light bulbs, nothing out of the ordinary. It's not going to 'blow your mind' but if you're going for a red theme like I am, they are perfect fit.

Lights in Speedo
These were very easy to install. Added a great dimension to the nighttime look. Easier on the eyes both day and night.

Wrong Kit but All Is OK
I originally ordered this up-grade for my 97 F 150 P-up. When I got the kit, I also wanted to upgrade the lights for my HVAC controls since it is the same size as the instrument panel. Consequently, I bought 2 kits. When the parcel arrived, I discovered that I was only shipped one kit and the kit did not match directly all the lights in the panel. There were two smaller lights that were not included. Also, the instrument panel requires 7 lights instead of 6. I called the manufacturer and told him of the problem. He said he would look into it and make it right. I didn't hear from him for a couple of days until one afternoon I got a package and it not only had the correct lights but more than I needed. I ultimately upgraded the turn signal lights also, which looks really cool at night. The only negative comment that I have is the original wrong part for the application, but in the end, it all worked out. I got the blue LEDs for this vehicle and it really looks nice.

LED Dash Lights
After having the new dash lights for several weeks now, I have to say that I do not really see any difference from the old ones. The big plus side is that I should not have to ever replace them again. For $50 I'm not sure that they are really worth this much.
