MOOG coils springs are manufactured from heat treated alloy steel to resist sagging and given an enamel coating to resist corrosion. In addition, some springs come with urethane protective tubes. MOOG coil springs are available in constant rate design, variable rate design, and cargo coil design. Constant rate springs will restore ride, handling, and ride height to OE specs. Variable rate springs change resistance as they compress, becoming progressively stiffer, and are ideal for vehicles that carry heavy loads.
