Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer / Limited / XLT 5.4L 2003, Tuned Length Steel Short Tube Exhaust Headers by BBK®. Primary Tubing Diameter: 1.625". Header Style: Short Tube. Gain 12-15 dyno-proven horsepower at the rear wheels just by bolting on a set of BBK long tube, full length headers. These premium headers are CAD designed with a one-piece laser cut exhaust flange, CNC mandrel bent tubes, and a leak-free ball and socket (dome) style collector, for unrestricted airflow. They’re pressure tested to ensure trouble-free performance, come with gaskets and mounting hardware.

Direct Fit
These headers a just great! Love them. Direct fit instead of OEM ones. Get yourself a quality gasket instead of one it is coming with, that was the only drawback. I installed these myself and from the bottom of my heart I suggest you to get it done by a garage. It took me almost 9 hours and plenty of equipment.

Hard to Install, Need a Shop
Very high flow. Need a shop to install, bolts are in very hard places and you risk blowing them.

Worth Every Penny
I bought this through another seller and have been extremely happy with them. They sound great, look fantastic, decrease drone, and offer a noticeable difference in seat of the pants performance. Get a new down pipe and delete the factory dent meant for emissions to compliment this header and 2.25 or 2.5 catback. If you really want a boost in performance, get a 62mm throttle body (also from BBK) 12 hole injectors, and 1.7 ratio aluminum rocker arms. That combo will do magic for the 4.0.

BBK® 40090 - Shorty Headers
Product looks great. More difficult to install than anticipated. The rear bolts are very difficult to get to. Bolting up to the stock collectors was easy. I was expecting better fuel mileage but have not seen it yet.

BBK Chrome Headers
The headers came really quickly. Once I got them, I installed them. They came with everything: gaskets, nuts, bolts, etc... Very easy installation. But for the driver's side, you'll need to use a lift because the old one needs to be taken out from the bottom and the new one put in through the bottom. But other than that, everything was really easy and simple. Great product, and I felt the difference right away.

Good quality
Bought bbk headers for my dodge charger 5.7L 2013 and they work fine. Great tone and noticeable power boost. Shipping was mad quick and everything fit perfect.

Headers are great
My 1998 F-150 has a stock 5.4L engine and these headers fit right. Noticed some hp increase. BBK never disappoints. gonna keep coming back to TRUCKiD cuz they actually know whats good.
