Romik® - 5.5" RAL Series Running Boards

Pretty solid bars with easier installation than most of the reviews I read (but the instructions were pretty bad though). The cutting of the plastic underneath doesn't have to follow the video given on the website. I actually got better cuts on mine that helped preserve the barrier better. The most disappointing part was the paint on the mounting brackets. It was thin and chipped of excessively during shipping. I haven't seen OEM bars but these could definitely give them a run for their. At this point, I would purchase from them again.

Running boards look great. But the manufacturer sent us the wrong brackets. Now the correct brackets are on back order and will take about two weeks before they can be shipped. When we called the manufacturer directly, the rep was so rude. Luckily, TRUCKiD is helping us on this matter.

Installed on a new limited release TFSI Sport Edition. Went with all black running boards to compliment the vehicle's "black optics". Deciphering the poorly illustrated instructions took some time, so here's a few tips: The check marks mark the location under the vehicle to install the brackets (front, middle, rear). Two different vehicle models are pictured (SI and non-SI). The SI model utilizes only two brackets (front and rear) while the non-SI model utilizes an additional third middle bracket. Once I figured out the orientation, the install went forward quickly. Be careful not to over torque the nuts when securing the boards to the mounting brackets as the aluminum is surprisingly softer than expected. The included torque values for all mounting points felt rather high. These running boards look awesome. I usually have the car in Dynamic (lowered) mode, and these add to that low profile look. IMO, the black color is more forgiving of stains and soot than the silver color. Properly mounted, these boards function well to ease getting into and out of the vehicle especially for small adults and young children. The raised plastic (polycarbonate) nubs provide some traction underfoot. My previous vehicle had RB Series running boards, which lasted its whole ownership, so I was confident that these RAL series boards would be a quality install for the new vehicle. These are a great value over the OEM running boards, which cost 2x more but dulled and developed rust spots over time.

The product looks very nice and seems to be good quality. My wife and kids love the steps for getting in and out of the vehicle. The installation instructions are very poor, though. In fact, I think the pictures are misleading - which was frustrating (and there aren't any written instructions - just pictures, so if the pictures are off, that makes installation quite a challenge). Once I figured out the installation on one side of the vehicle, the process was very easy on the other side. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase - just wish a little more effort went into the installation instructions.

Easy to install and great quality. My only issue was the Romik logo metal stickers had fallen off during shipping and were stuck to the packing plastic. This made them unusable for brand recognition.

Delivered without any problems. Installed in less than an hour, no drilling, everything fit perfect, instructions where easy to read well look at and follow the pictures. Better than the dealer offered accessorizes which were composite and more expensive way more.

So, I bought 4 other brand running boards that claim they fit the GT model but they didn’t. These Romik running boards are the only boards that fit the GT Durango. Took me an hour to install them and they look amazing.
