WeatherTech® - Black Mud Flaps

Purchased the following products for my 2017 Ford Explorer XLT: Front and rear floor mats and rear cargo mat. Installation for rear mats and the cargo mat are a simple install. The contour with which they were molded is an amazing replica of both the rear floor contour and the rear cargo area layout. Amazing precision fit and the finish and texture are attractive and functional. Front mats have unique mounting fasteners that are easy to install and simply serve as a guide as you remove the mat for cleaning and then reinstall afterward. WeatherTech products are the best. They were easy to install and look like factory equipment. No drill. No removing wheels. I thought it was to good to be true, but I was wrong. Exactly as advertised!

I found these really nice mud flaps on TRUCKiD. The price seemed a bit high but that was based on my previous experience with the generic mud flaps you see in the auto parts stores. Anyway, I ordered them based on the picture and they did not disappoint! They are very well made, very sturdy and most important of all - they are really easy to install. Whoever designed and engineered these, really knows what they are doing. The only thing you have to be careful with are the plastic screws that hold the plastic shroud to the body. But the instructions tell the same thing. You have to use them to attach the mud flap. But the coolest thing is the metal device that attaches to the plastic on the car and the way the bottom of the mud flap fits. Totally cool and worth the money. They have the look of factory installed flaps. The rear ones are slight different but just as easy to install. Great job TRUCKiD and WeatherTech!! Oh, and the shipping if cheap and very fast!

Perfect fit. Excellent quality. Easy installation.

The ones I received were for the (I believe) 2020-2023 models. The front ones fit fine but the back ones were not right. I was anxious to get them on so I drilled a different (inner) hole to make them work. I should have sent them back but, like I said, I wanted to get them put on.

Mud flaps fit good. Front were real easy to install. Back took a little longer to start screws., but went on good. Weather Tech prices went up a lot for same model number flaps I purchased four years ago.

Installation of the 1st one took almost an hour then the other three were done in about 45 minutes :). Very solid and attractive product.

Very good quality, easy installation, look great

I bought these mud flaps to stop the ice and snow from coming up onto the running boards. It only took about a 1/2 hour to install all four of them. Very easy and they look good. Haven't had them in winter yet but expect them to work well as the front ones shield the front edge of the running boards. The back ones should reduce the spray on the cargo carrier attached to the trailer hitch when I transport my snow blower.

I am well pleased with these mud flaps. Once I read the instructions, I was able to install all four flaps in around twenty minutes and they blend into the appearance of the truck very well. I highly recommend the weather tech mud flaps for both appearance and ease of installation.
