Hi, there are two ways to check the vehicle's country of origin. One way is to check the FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) label usually found in the driver's door jamb; this label will state the country of manufacture. The other way is to check your VIN: if the first character is "J", the vehicle was built in Japan. If the first character is a number, the vehicle was built in North America.
