While the rack feet actually support the load on the vehicle, the load bars support the cargo between the rack feet. The ideal load bars must be light so they can be handled easily but strong enough to carry the load without sagging or collapsing. They must be versatile enough to carry a variety of gear and be used with the latest accessories. For maximum strength, Thule SquareBar™ Load Bars are constructed from cold rolled galvanized steel with welded seams. They're plastic coated for durability and resistance to rust and corrosion, and they're compatible with all Thule accessories. A Thule square bar foot pack is required for installation and the foot pack may require a vehicle specific installation kit. The bar end caps are included in the foot pack, not supplied with the bars.
The SquareBar™ load bars are sold in pairs in your choice of lengths, and come with everything required for installation, including detailed instructions. Installation of the foot pack on some vehicles may require vehicle specific installation kit. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship.
