Body Armor 4x4 (BA) warrants to the original purchaser that these products will be free from defects in material and workmanship prior to shipping and/or installation for the life of the product. This non-transferable limited lifetime warranty does not cover damage or impairment in any part due to misuse, improper installation, accident or contact with on-road or off-road hazards, product modification, improper or inadequate cleaning and/or maintenance. All other warranties and representations express or implied are hereby disclaimed, including fitness for merchantability and buyer’s intended use or purpose.

BA products are built and sold for highway and off-road use. The original purchaser assumes all risks as to the selection, suitability and performance of all goods and products purchased. BA’s sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace the item(s).

FINISH WARRANTY

The finish is warranted to be free of defects for a period of 3 years from date of purchase. Product(s) that have been abused, altered, incorrectly installed or used in competition are void of said warranty. Surface rust, pitting or discoloration is a direct result of improper maintenance is not covered by this warranty. It is the responsibility of the owner to preserve and maintain the finish of their product(s). In areas where high concentrations of road salts and other corrosive agents are used, rust or damage to the finish may occur if BA product(s) are not properly maintained. Lack of proper maintenance in these areas may void the finish warranty. See below for routine maintenance tips and recommendations.

PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Textured coat finished should be cleaned ONLY with a mild soup on a damp sponge
BA recommends wiping down the product with a light coat of lubricate (i.e. WD40) periodically to maintain its luster
DO NOT apply polish or wax that requires buffing for removal as this may damage the finish
DO NOT coat the product with any type of shine such as Tire Shire or glossy aerosol or gel. This can cause discoloration, staining or bubbling

Don't Bother with ARB, This Is WAY Better!

Had ARB for 8 years - rusted away faster than sand blowing in the wind. Replaced front and rear with Body Armor and could not be happier. The Rhino coating is hands down better than ARB powder coat. Also purchased the exact hitch receiver shown in photos - again, much better fit than the shallow ARB which could not take required depth of large tows. Design is nice too, they followed the lines of the FJ and could almost pass for OEM.

No Swing Out For FJ Cruiser!

Nice Bumper! However the sales rep told me that the swing out would come with it. It doesn't! So I had to buy the swing out from Expedition One and retro fit myself. Please inform your sales crew and review the write-up so others won't make the same assumption. If I had to do over I would just get the Expedition One.

Rear Bumper Installation.

First let me say, thank you for both the outstanding service and a top rate product. I installed the TC 2961 bumper on my 2015 Tacoma Sport. It took longer to remove the stock one then put the new one on. What a dream. As for it's looks, Off the Scale. Thank you. JLK.

Body Armor Bumper

Pretty easy install. One person can bolt it on pretty quickly. I would say it takes about an hour. I have the swing arm and a hitch receiver. Definitely put on the receiver before the bumper. The swing arm and bumper are all pretty quality metal. The finish is easy to mess up. It's a bumper though on a jeep so who cares. I'd buy body armor 4x4 again. The fact the swing arm costs as much as the bumper is excessive. Also the jerry can holder for the swing arm being like $250? Seriously?

Really Nice Bumper

Heavy-Duty

Simple to install. Keep in mind that the bumper has no place for license plate lights except by using the plate mounting bolt holes. I bought some moto LED lights that double as plate mounting bolts from amazon for like $5. Notice the gap between the taillight assembly and the top of the bumper is a bit much. And the design worsens take off clearance angles compared to stock. Overall I'm satisfied with the quality especially when you compare prices of the alternatives. One great result is that the added weight of this bumper noticeably smooths out the ride and enhances traction. That extra weight allows the rear shox to do their job instead of bouncing and hopping around due to the light truck bed.

Great Experience!

I recently backed into a stump while camping and folded my old sheet metal bumper under, I wanted something more solid, the description and the pictures online looked like exactly what I wanted, I'm always skeptical buying online but TRUCKiD.com had a very accurate description, pictures and the bumper fit exactly the way it was supposed to.
