ACDelco® 84009365 - Genuine GM Parts™ Alternator

Everything as advertised, clocked correctly, so ease of installation was that much easier. Why buy rebuilt when for a few bucks more everything is new and correct? Who wants to remove it when it doesn't work right?

The alternator was exactly as described. The auto shop I normally go to would have charged me twice as much for a remanufactured alternator, plus another $400 or so for labor to install it. Watch a few YouTube videos, make sure you have the right tools, and consider doing his job yourself. It wasn't too difficult, actually. Just make sure you rewatch at least one of the instructional videos when you're finished before reconnecting the battery. I paid extra for fast delivery, and TRUCKiD delivered as promised (not every place actually does, in my experience).

Very pleased with TRUCKiD replacement alternator. Arrived in short time (2 days after ordering) and was an exact replacement for the original alternator with the same part number and same bar code. They had the best price on the internet for a unit delivered to a remote town in Wyoming so better service than I used to get when living just outside of Kansas City, Kansas! The question remains - did I get a bad original alternator (stopped charging after 66,000 miles) or is theirs a design flaw in the alternators and I will be replacing this one at 132,000 miles. No problems with TRUCKiD and I will be checking them out for sure when I have future needs for automotive parts.

Came pretty much as expected, works so far, decent quality. For my particular application I had to rotate the clocking 180 degrees. Not that big a deal, split the case and rotate. There's a trick though, you'll have to slide something small and straight in through the hole in the back to keep the brushes in place so you can put the cases back together. Did not come with core refund instructions as stated. When I emailed and asked about this they just gave me the core refund without having to send the core in. Kinda shady, which is why I docked a star.

Product was cleaned to look new, but that was about it. Had it on for less than a week and it failed. I have already sent in a warranty claim and will never buy a remanufactured part again.

Item a bit pricey but works pretty good took a bit of time to come but that was on delivery end if you need it one parts are good and this part is rebuild but works great!!! Thank you TRUCKiD!!

I wasn`t the one who did the install, but it was less than an hour, and it was the perfect part (fitment, etc.) that was needed. Car starts right up and holds the charge. It turned out my voltage regulator was bad on the old one. Thanks for helping me cross reference everything as it saved me time, money, and frustration.
