Mod-Twin Heavy Duty Sprung Street Clutch Kit (T1SS-S01) by ACT®This street, twin disc kit offers twice the number of disc surfaces for better wear, heat capacity and long life compared to single disc kits. These kits use a proprietary Positive Lift Floater System design, which results in quiet operation with no floater rattle and no posts to wear. ACT twin disc kits endure an exclusive four-stage, heat-treating process on all diaphragms. The ACT twin disc kits features the ability to adjust for disc wear and provides equal disengagement for discs.

ACT® - Installation Instructions

The Performance street rigid-hub discs feature premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. Rivet design and materials are carefully selected for maximum strength. All ACT twin disc kits include a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel to ensure trouble-free installation and operation. ACT twin disc kits include a pressure plate, two discs, a floater, flywheel and alignment tool. Some kits may include a pilot bearing and release bearing.

Warranty

ACT warrants all products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from retail purchase. Written notice must be immediately given to ACT within the warranty period. ACT requires a copy of the purchase receipt showing the unit was purchased from an Authorized Dealer to verify the product is under warranty. Products purchased used do not carry a warranty. This warranty is to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

ACT reserves the right to examine any part returned for warranty claim to determine, to ACT’s satisfaction, whether the material or workmanship of the part does not conform to this limited warranty. ACT’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting, at its option, any part which is deemed covered by ACT. No labor, lift or storage charges will be reimbursed for any reason. Damage to ACT’s parts resulting from misuse, improper use, or abuse shall void this limited warranty. Failure to follow ACT’s installation instructions and the vehicle manufacturer’s installation procedures and specifications shall void this limited warranty.

ACT undertakes no responsibility for the quality of the goods except as otherwise provided in this contract. ACT assumes no responsibility that the goods will be fit for any particular purpose for which you may be buying these goods, except as otherwise provided in the contract. ACT shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty.

Be ready for the bite

Nice solid clutch, but don't rush the break-in. If you don't get at least 500 miles of normal driving first its gonna feel rough. Also this clutch is for people who actually drive their car hard, it grabs aggressive and def takes some adjustment. Pedal feel is stiff but not unbearable.

Handles Power Like a Champ

The pedal feel is heavier but not unbearable and it grabs so much better than stock. Engagement is smooth, it feels way more solid than the stock clutch. So far, it's holding up great with my stage 2 setup.
