• Flowing 20% better than the factory unit, the BladeRunner intercooler performed above 95% efficiency, compared to the 88% efficiency of the factory intercooler
• While tested on the field at an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, the BladeRunner cooled outlet flow temperature to 77 degrees
• A CNC machined bypass flange allows the intercooler to be used on models that come equiped with an electronic bypass valve
• The unique, BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of 3/16'' TIG-Welded aluminum plates that incorporate four multi-directional vanes throughout the intercooler
• The BladeRunner MDV technology is used to direct hot airflow through the entire intercooler core allowing for increased air flow and cooling capacity
• The use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by stock vehicles
• The intercooler includes a 1/8" NPT brass breather vent, which allows condensation to drain from the intercooler
• The port can also be plugged and drained periodically using the included 1/8" NPT plug

BladeRunner™ GT Series Intercooler (46-20161) by aFe®. Bladerunner Intercoolers represent the next generation of intercoolers. The Bladerunner intercoolers utilize a 3" bar and plate design that outperforms OE style tube and fin core designs. TIG welded aluminum plate tanks that incorporate three multi-directional vanes that efficiently direct air flow through the entire core for maximum cooling. The Bladerunner Intercooler is tested at 200psi which is perfect for the high boost applications. In recent testing the Bladerunner intercooler produced a 200 degree temperature drop and a 100 degree EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) drop as well as increasing air flow by 30%.
