AIRAID® 450-300 - Dam High-Density Polyethylene Cold Air Intake System with SynthaFlow™ Red Filter without Intake Tube

Delivery took about a week and a half. The air intake system itself was very easy to install in my 2019 Nissan Frontier SV Flex, 4.0L V6, considering I have zero experience installing anything on a vehicle!! In addition, the system is exceptionally well built and contains high-quality materials you can see and feel. As soon as I was done installing the system... oh boy, what a tremendous difference in torque and pick up! And the way the engine sounds now is beautiful. I had K&N cold air intake on my 06 Dodge Charger SRT8 that my neighbor who happened to be the original owner I baught the car from had installed, but I felt like the car felt kind of restricted especially when accelerating hard in 1st gear mostly a little less in second gear, so when I saw this I became really interested in the dam high density duct that would act as a real direct cold air intake since it gets even more air directly from the hoodscoop, so I decided to give it a shot. I ordered this at least 6 months ago, but it arrived right when winter hit and it was too cold to install, but since it's a little warmer now I figured I might as well install it the other day b.c I had nothing else to do b.c of of the corona virus quarantine haha, but the first thing I noticed was how much bigger the filter was compared to the K&N filter I was almost afraid that it wouldnt fit, but it did nice and snug with no room to spare and then I didn't know how much a difference the air duct would make, but I started the car and it even sounded louder and a little more aggressive and now it literally has no more restriction AT ALL and it even holds the RPM and speed longer unlike before it would. I would feel the car decelerating almost immediately after letting off the gas which also no longer happens, so from the huge filter to the air duct sucking air through the hoodscoop it feels like a totally different and better car. I thought it would make only a little difference, but wow was I pleasantly surprised. I'd highly recommend this for anyone who wants a real boost in acceleration or feels like their current filter is restrictive, this will definitely fix your problem.

The product was delivered within two days and installation was quick and simple (45minutes). The intake looks great and is legal in CA. The instructions were clear to read, and I actually have no negative review with AirAid intake. The increase in performance is amazing on my Chevy HHR.

I bought this air intake off of TRUCKiD after much research and it was worth it! It did not take long to install and it looks great. It uses a lot of the factory parts that are already installed so there is not much work to be done. Overall, it's a great intake and it sounds amazing.

Manufacture forgot to pre-drill holes for air dam to secure to intake box. Temperature sensor will not fit in pre drilled hole. Machine cuts on air dam look cheap. Metal cover does not fully secure on intake box.

Worth the money, improve acceleration. More mpg per gallon engine wake up more quickly. You can feel the power Gain thankfully with the product make the 4.7 feel like a hemi

The Air Intake arrived on time, it did not take me long at all to get it installed, follow the directions and you'll be fine, I noticed little performance gain although I do like the sound. To get the max performance and best sound gain I do recommend taking the stock fresh air scoop out, you do not need to take the front bumper off you can simply just take the top bolts off the bumper and have someone pull it back so that you can unscrew the two bolts holding it on and then pull it out.

I bought this cold air intake system for my 5.0 F-150 Platinum about 2 yrs ago. My 2 yr pre-installation overall MPG was 15.1. My 2 yr post installation MPG is 15.6. I'm told I have a lead foot & my truck has a leveling kit. I also have a Borla cat back dual exhaust. The throttle response is notably better. The filter is also very easy to clean. I was able to install it by myself, but would recommend an extra set of hands to make the process easier & faster.

I drive a 2018 Chrysler 300s with the 3.6. This intake is the same size for all Mopar engines from my 3.6L V6 to 6.4L Hemi (same filter, different fittings), which is insane. It looks fantastic under the hood and gave my tiny V6 a bit more power, but plenty of presence. The only negative is the sound. I did step down from a 2007 5.7 hemi with a K&N intake, so maybe the bar for crazy induction sound was set way too high, but I was a little disappointed with low "wwohmpf" when I expected a more audible whistle. But that's a minor complaint, and not much of a complaint at all. The power increase is there and it really makes the engine bay look better. Overall great intake.
