Product Details

PowerAid™ Throttle Body Spacer (310-511) by AIRAID®. The POWERAID Throttle Body Spacer is designed to enhance off-idle torque from 800 rpm to approximately 3,000 rpm. The spacer utilizes it’s unique, patented Helix Bore design to spin the incoming air charge as it passes through the throttle body spacer. The spinning air action boosts the velocity of the incoming air and contributes to better atomization of the air/fuel mixture as the air charge enters the combustion chamber. The end result is more part-throttle torque and improved mid-range power.

There are many companies that make products to improve airflow to your engine. AIRAID is one of the few that's thought of how to improve that airflow once it gets there. The result of their research and testing is the PowerAid™ Throttle Body Spacer. The PowerAid™ Spacer is about 1-in. thick and installs between the throttle body and intake manifold. It features AIRAID's unique and patented Helix Bore, which creates a spinning action as the incoming air passes through the throttle body. The helical effect causes the air molecules to organize and maintain high velocity, all the way into the combustion chamber. Combustion is improved and engine efficiency increased. The results you experience are tremendous torque gains from 800-2500 rpm, along with gains in fuel economy.

Each PowerAid™ spacer is computer designed and dyno tested for the specific application. It's manufactured from high quality, aircraft-grade 6061 T-6 aluminum. Everything required for installation comes with your spacer, including gaskets, hardware, the necessary brackets and detailed instructions. And it can be installed in less than an hour with simple hand tools.

PowerAid™ spacers are available for vehicles with electronic throttle bodies and vehicles with throttle cables. They're also available with PowerPorts™. PowerPorts™ are specially located ports in the spacer that are drilled and tapped for instrumentation sensors or power enhancements like Nitrous Oxide.

What does this warranty cover?
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of your AIRAID OE replacement air filter or intake system (the “product”), with the exceptions stated below.

What does this warranty not cover?
This warranty does not cover damage due to (a) transportation, (b) storage, (c) improper use, (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform any preventive maintenance, (e) modifications, (f) unauthorized repair, (g) normal wear and tear, (h) any type of racing or competition, (i) any off-road use or (j) external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond AIRAID's reasonable control (e.g., acts of God and natural disasters).

How long does the coverage last?
This warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

What will AIRAID do?
AIRAID will repair any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. If repair is not possible, AIRAID will either replace your product with a new product of similar composition and price, or refund the purchase price of your product, at its sole discretion.

Limitation of liability
The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and AIRAID's entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty. AIRAID's liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the product, nor shall AIRAID under any circumstances be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect.

This warranty lasts for one year from the date of purchase. Coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. The warranty period will not be extended if AIRAID repairs or replaces the product.

Good Product

Overall appearance is nice. Installation was a breeze! I literally installed it in under 10 minutes. I have a K&N cold air intake as well and that might have made things easier. Since installation, I’ve noticed about a 1.2 MPG increase so I’m sure I got a small horsepower & torque boost. I will say I think it would look better if it had an “AIRAID” emblem/sticker on the outer perimeter between the bolt holes. Also, it had some burrs at the start & end of the threads.

Great Throttle Response

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 Big horn, I don’t hear the whistle I have heard about online. My 06 Ram had the intake almost under the dash so I could hear it but with the 14 Ram throttle body is further in the engine compartment.

AIRAID® 300-631-1 - PowerAid™ Throttle Body Spacer

Installed the AIRAID PowerAid Throttle Body on 2013 Dodge Ram. Install took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Very easy install. The product looks and sounds great. You can hear a little winding sound at low speeds. I can feel a better throttle response and power around 2500 rpm range. I also have an AIRAID cold air Intake system and a doable tuner. Great combination. Very please with product.

Excellent Product

Great addition to my 2011 Chevy Silverado! I noticed more hp but the biggest difference was in the response from the throttle. When I press down on the accelerator I can feel a quicker punch. Very easy to install, It took me about 25 minutes. Looks good under the hood.

Throttle Body Spacer

I installed this Throttle Body Spacer on my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. At first I was curious if it was even going to do anything. The installation was a breeze the instruction paper actually made since. After I put this product on you can hear a whistle sound, it sounds like a very small turbo. The Airaid product come to find out has made a difference. I have put it to the test with most of everything, when the light is red and it turns green you put the throttle all the way down it doesn't work. But when you have the throttle at half like going 30 mph then you put the metal to the peddle, you can feel and tell it works. Then when driving normally it does very well, the box says 4 mpg well lets get real now it does get only like 3 mpg better. The acceleration hp is all a little better.
