These Jeep Wrangler lips are covered with 304 stainless steel, which is so much better than lip balm! If you're considering getting them painted, get the brushed stainless steel. Its satin finish will allow for easy paint application if you want those lips to be ruby red. There's also black powder coat finish which gives great contrast from the red tail lights.

    Excellent Quality
    I put the polished stainless steel tail light trim on my white 2018 R/T. Honestly, they look pretty slick on the car. They go perfectly with my chrome gas cap (yes, I like the chrome one, not black!) and classic chrome "Challenger" emblems that I added to the car. What I like the most is that they are not too gaudy-looking, and are kinda subtle until the light hits them just right, then they bling. Definitely a must if you want your Challenger to look more old school. They actually arrived on the day they were scheduled to ship, so that was a nice surprise. The packaging was very secure with lots of protection from bending, and the overall quality of these light trims is 100% top notch. 3M tape and the whole nine. A little bit pricey, but as long as they never fade or peel as advertised, I think the price is fair.
