For compact trucks with irregularly shaped bed walls, this set of two L-shaped brackets attach to your truck to create a proper mounting point for the standard brackets used with all AMP Research bed extenders. Traditional steel construction, drilling required.
Installation
AMP Research® - BedXTender HD™ Bed Extender Installation VideoSome compact pickup trucks have irregularly shaped bed walls with indentations that can make it difficult to place the standard Quick Latch brackets that come with each Bed Extender. First, this set of two L-shaped brackets are mounted directly on your truck walls, then the standard Quick Latch brackets are attached to the L-shaped brackets. Because the Quick Latch brackets are now facing the proper direction, the bed extender assembly can be placed on them for normal use.
AMP Research uses heavy-grade traditional steel to assemble the brackets, and has created the L-shape in specific proportions and size for maximum rigidity. Flex is eliminated to ensure the mounting points for your Bed Extender align properly at all times, allowing it to do its job holding your cargo in place. AMP Research builds all brackets in the United States and backs them with a 3-year / 36,000 mile warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.
