Installation
AMP Research® - BedXTender HD™ Bed Extender Installation VideoThis is a set of brackets with round eye holes that hold the pivot pins on the sides of all AMP Research bed extenders. They mount to standard pickup truck bed walls and allow the bed extender cage to rotate. They keep the cage securely in place during normal use while also allowing it to be removed or inserted easily. Should your pickup truck feature irregularly shaped bed walls or pockets with indentations that can make it difficult to place these Quick Latch brackets at the proper angle, AMP Research offers a set of two L-shaped brackets (sold separately) to correct that issue.
AMP Research uses heavy-grade traditional steel to assemble the Quick Latch brackets, and finishes them with a coating of durable black powder coat to resist scratches, chips, and corrosion from the elements. The brackets are created for maximum rigidity and minimal flex to keep the mounting points for your Bed Extender aligned properly at all times. AMP Research builds all brackets in the United States and backs them with a 3-year / 36,000 mile warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.
