If you want the look of slim and elegant bright work on your PowerStep retracting running boards but have original style horizontal board pieces, AMP Research provides this kit that allows you to swap your older boards with a set of new ones that are designed to fit Polished Stainless Steel trim pieces. No changing of mounting arms or any other moving parts is required, and the new style boards bolt in place of original ones without drilling. To give your new boards the fully finished look you desire, four end caps are included along with two polished stainless steel trim pieces.

The polished stainless steel trim strips accentuate the powder coat black look of the "new style" running boards - creating a look that's equally at home in front of a formal country club or on a job site. To ensure the dazzling brightwork stays that way, AMP Research starts with one of the highest grades of stainless steel there is and polishes it to an even consistency – giving you a look that's as dazzling as chrome without any worry of tarnishing, pitting, or corrosion. The 79" Stainless Steel Trim Strips are easy to install or remove because they are grooved to slide right onto the front of the running board edges for a look that's completely integrated, not add-on. Should you prefer to enjoy the all-black look of the running boards by themselves at a later point, those trim strips remove with equal ease. AMP Research builds all components in the United States and backs them with a 5-year / 60,000 mile warranty against failure due to manufacturing defects.
