Great headlights after a year and 4 months the bottom headlights started building mass amounts of moisture

These headlights make a big impression and look awesome on my 16 yr old truck. Nice upgrade to make your truck look even better than some of the newer trucks out on the road. Worth investing into if you are in to quality and style for your vehicle.

Fitment is perfect, it was easy to install for those with little mechanical knowledge. Covers sealed all around to keep out moisture, of course added a little sealant of my own for safe measure. So far it performs well and looks really good on my truck. Definitely recommend this headlight kit to replace O.E.

When I got these in today I immediately unboxed them and got them installed with some difficulties, mainly the bolts that hold the headlights in place were too short or something because I had to put some serious force to get them locked in place. Then once I drove at night I noticed the headlights were messed up and thought I just needed to adjust them no big deal, however, to adjust the beam requires you to remove the headlight as the adjuster is on the back side of the headlight without any way to adjust them while theyre installed then I realized the headlight was just broken and that I cant adjust the beam and its just pointing at the ground about 10 to 15 feet away I doubt that this is normal and just a rare defective product but it happened. I also thought the poor design leading to a hard install was worth noting. The pictures below shows me moving the bulb part up and down with my hand if I could post the video I would. I will say though the headlights look great. Just wish they were designed better.

You see cars out there all the time with round halo lights and there were a lot of aftermarket lights for my 2003 Chevy 2500HD with round halos. But I wanted something unique so I picked these up and I couldn't be happier, they look absolutely amazing and I get compliments on them all the time! Plus like Chevy truck lights always are these were super easy to install and adjust.

I have had them for just over 3 years and I'm back on TRUCKiD looking for a new set because I'm tired of all the issues. The first issue was one of the lamps collected a ton of moisture after a lot of rain/humidy. I live in a ralatively dry climate so heavy rain isn't normal and I didn't notice the issue until it was already outside of warranty. I ended up drilling a small weep hole in the bottom of the lense to allow it to drain which seems to have fixed it. No buildup since. Later, the bottom of one of the LED strips died (pictured). Hard to say if it was related to the moisture buildup or not but whatever. Again, outside warranty and i wasn't going to buy another one just for the LED issue. If it was just those two issues I would just let them ride, but the one that has me back here is how many low beam bulbs I go through. I have another truck with factory lamps and similar mileage and over the last 3 years running the same bulbs I have only replaced the low brands once. I replace at least one low beam every 6-9 months in these and they aren't exactly easy to get to which makes the problem even worse. I can only speculate that the way they are held is causing excessive vibration and causing them to fail prematurely. This is primarily a highway truck that sees very little offroad use. As much as I love how they look, I just can't justify the cost of replacement bulbs with every oil change any more.

Lights look good gave me a hard time with the mount I had to buy longer new bolts because the ones you receive are to short but good looking lights over all.

Doesn’t take away from those iconic headlights at all, but also adds a s**y LED halo light that was definitely worth the trouble wiring in. Looks great day and night!
