Product Details

Air Locker Breather by ARB®. When drivetrain assemblies such as your vehicle’s differentials, gearbox and transfer case heat up under normal operation, the air inside expands and increases pressure. To vent this additional pressure, most factory differentials have a one-way valve mounted to either the assembly itself, or on a short extension tube close by. Unfortunately, when the drivetrain assembly cools down, the air inside contracts, creating a vacuum. When cooling occurs during a water crossing, these one-way valves can draw water into the system, potentially causing expensive damage. The ARB Differential Breather Kit is designed to provide a high-flow, zero back pressure, zero vacuum breather system to keep your drivetrain free of water. This is achieved with a central high-flow air filter and manifold that will allow up to four drivetrain assemblies to be vented to one central location, positioned high enough to avoid water during crossings.

Warranty

ARB warrants ARB products against defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period. If defective workmanship or materials become apparent in the warranty period, ARB will replace or repair the defective ARB product. Products that are used in competition void warranty. Product purchased “used” or “open box” are not covered under warranty.

ARB warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Fitting of the ARB product other than in accordance with the product information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including incorrect fitting
Using the ARB product other than for the purpose for which it was originally designed or other than in accordance with the product information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including unusual, improper or negligent use or misuse, or overloading
Misuse or neglect of the ARB product, including improper repair or maintenance, or failing to repair and maintain
Alteration, abuse, acts of nature, terrorism, vandalism, collision, road hazards, or adverse conditions
Formal or informal competitive events, such as racing, rallying, hill climbing, speed trials, or similar activities
Using the ARB product in underground mining or other highly corrosive environments

The warranty period commences on and from the purchase date and ends as follows:

Air Locker – 5 years / unlimited miles
ARB Branded product – 3 years / unlimited miles
Bushes, bearings, shackles, pins, U-bolts, batteries, globes, gas struts – 1 year or 25,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Roof Rack Fitting Kit – 2 years

For all ARB products used for commercial applications including (without limitation) taxis, hire vehicles, and use in the mining industry, ARB warrants to you that the ARB product is free from defects in workmanship and materials for the commercial use warranty period:

Air Locker & ARB Branded product – 3 years or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Bushes, shackles, pins, U-bolts, batteries, globes, gas struts – 1 year or 25,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Roof Rack Fitting Kit – 2 years
