Universal On-Board Twin High Performance 24V Air Compressor (CKMTA24) by ARB®. Includes: Fully Assem Air Comp, Complete Wiring Loom, Comp Isolating Switch, Splash Resistant Air Filters, Mounting Bolts and Washers. This portable 12V air compressor comes in a durable polypropylene carry case for added versatility and uses quality components for quiet operation and extra long life. Including a 19ft air hose, it also comes with all the necessary fittings for tire inflation and camping or leisure gear.

Tires perform best when they're set at a pressure that's appropriate for the terrain. While highway use calls for a relatively high pressure rate, lowering your air pressure will dramatically improve your 4x4's traction in a range of off road environments. Compressed air allows you the freedom to adjust the tire inflation level of your truck to suit the conditions.

Warranty

ARB warrants ARB products against defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period. If defective workmanship or materials become apparent in the warranty period, ARB will replace or repair the defective ARB product. Products that are used in competition void warranty. Product purchased “used” or “open box” are not covered under warranty.

ARB warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
Fitting of the ARB product other than in accordance with the product information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including incorrect fitting
Using the ARB product other than for the purpose for which it was originally designed or other than in accordance with the product information and all relevant vehicle safety and compliance laws, including unusual, improper or negligent use or misuse, or overloading
Misuse or neglect of the ARB product, including improper repair or maintenance, or failing to repair and maintain
Alteration, abuse, acts of nature, terrorism, vandalism, collision, road hazards, or adverse conditions
Formal or informal competitive events, such as racing, rallying, hill climbing, speed trials, or similar activities
Using the ARB product in underground mining or other highly corrosive environments

The warranty period commences on and from the purchase date and ends as follows:

Air Locker – 5 years / unlimited miles
ARB Branded product – 3 years / unlimited miles
Bushes, bearings, shackles, pins, U-bolts, batteries, globes, gas struts – 1 year or 25,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Roof Rack Fitting Kit – 2 years

For all ARB products used for commercial applications including (without limitation) taxis, hire vehicles, and use in the mining industry, ARB warrants to you that the ARB product is free from defects in workmanship and materials for the commercial use warranty period:

Air Locker & ARB Branded product – 3 years or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Bushes, shackles, pins, U-bolts, batteries, globes, gas struts – 1 year or 25,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
Roof Rack Fitting Kit – 2 years

Yet to Install, Have First Impression

Went over the installation manual. Also inspected in detail the compressor that arrived. Basically it is two compressors laid side by side “boxer” style. This compressor is large and heavy, exactly what I want for a Unimog but maybe too heavy and large for a “normal” vehicle. Nice quality harness and master switch arrived with the compressor. However the most disturbing part of the design is that the harness taps into the 12v half of a 24v battery bank. This is generally a no no for balanced battery bank. If you have a (rare) 24v battery this harness will not work for you. Since it’s a very thin black wire it likely doesn’t consume and carry much current, but the power demand spec is unclear.

ARB Tire Repair Kit

I haven't had to use this setup; yet, I've used other kits, but this kit has it all. The tools seem to be strong. I would recommend this product to any 4x4 enthusiasts.
