Product Details

Headache Rack System (111000) by Aries®. Finish: Black. For the heavy-duty hauler and hardworking trailer blazer, a headache rack is a must-have truck accessory. It does not take much for a two-by-four or steel pipe to put a good size crack in the rear window of your truck cab, especially when you stick to the off-road trails. The Aries headache rack features a hardy design and is made with quality components.

Installation

The Aries Automotive headache rack is a true utility item. It is quickly and easily installed, it is fully louvered to offer true sun protection while preserving rear visibility. Its top is made to carry loads and is equipped with built-in side stops. The rack also offers protection from load items that come flying on sudden stops. Don't rely on the rack holding up if heavy items come loose, though. The louvers are better at stopping sun rays than at stopping lumber.

Made from 1" x 2" carbon steel tubing, Aries headache racks provide excellent protection for your truck cab, from both the heat of the sun and potential impact from unsecure cargo in your truck bed. The full louvers help keep your cab cooler throughout the work day, and their thick construction helps block any damage from behind. The Aries headache rack also features a semi-gloss black powder coat finish to maintain its sleek appearance, preventing damage from rust, scratches and UV rays. Installation is quick and easy with the Aries headache rack. It comes in two universal sizes to fit a variety of full-size pickup trucks, including Dodge, Chevy and Ford. It is also compatible with cross-bed tool boxes and includes all necessary hardware for installation.

Looks great and has so many possible mounting points for light bars or lighting accessories, and a plus it is tool box compatible. The perfect combination of quality and appearance without hurting your wallet. And it got here within a week. An absolute must have.

TRUCKiD Headache Racks
Overall, product is awesome. Very impressed with the design and the finish. Great accessory to our 2012 Ford F150 Ecoboost. The rack has already served its purpose well (hauling around engine hoists) and has really added to the look of the truck. Love it! Thanks!

Headache Rack
Looks nice, with a couple of pant nicks, but a nice thick coat of epoxy paint. It is fairly easy to install, but doesn't really fit. They made it to be universal, so it fits nothing exactly, but that was easy to overcome by drilling my own holes in the front of the mounting bracket, so I would not be trying to bolt it to the stake hole. I have a bed rail mounted toolbox, and with some rearranging of the brackets, I was able to install it over the rack brackets, just can't follow the instructions' placement of the brackets, so some pre-fitting is required.
