Arkon's RV179 RoadVise premium iPhone car mount and iPhone car holder is ideal for car dashboards, windshields, and other flat or slightly textured surfaces. The car cell phone holder's spring-loaded mechanism expands and securely grips phones up to 4" wide. Arkon recommends using the RoadVise Holder with smartphones with skins and ruggedized cases. The car phone holder is designed to use two hands to install and remove your device. This is to make sure your device cannot be accidentally removed while adjusting viewing angle. The low-profile holder keeps rear smartphone cameras free for spontaneous pictures or videos. The holder is easy to install. Just snap it onto the 17mm ball of the pedestal and use the included tightening ring to secure. The car dock's base uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide a maximum surface bond. In order to prevent permanent indentation marks on soft vinyl, leather, or similar dashboard surfaces, Arkon recommends using the included 3M adhesive mounting disk. While powerfully strong, the sticky suction car mount is also easily removable and reusable. The arm of the suction mount adjusts vertically and provides 360° rotation, providing flexibility in viewing the smartphone from any angle.
