Warranty durations run from the date of documented purchase (the day of purchase by the end user).
AST (Assenmacher Specialty Tools) shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, consequential or special, arising out of the use of, or the inability to use the product.
AST products carry a 5-year warranty with the exceptions stipulated below:
Sockets marked "For Hand Use Only" will not be warranted if damaged by use with a power tool.
Sets and Kits: If only one item is defective, that item will be replaced, not the entire set. If only a part on a tool is defective, (i.e. gasket, rubber band, etc.) only the part will be replaced.
Cooling system adapters with a plastic tester attachment piece may be repairable for a nominal fee. Warranty is handled by replacing the defective item.
AST stud removers produced between 2008–2018 are under warranty and will be replaced at no charge. Internal stud remover parts are replaceable. If the production date is in the range of 2008–2018, AST will send out internal replacement parts at no charge.
AST tools are warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for a period of five years. Excluded are: cutting tools, screwdriver/bits, pressure gauges, dial indicators, measuring tools, etc.
