Product Details
Universal Tonneau Cover Adapter Kit (92001) by BackRack®. 2" Lift. This is a set of two bracket pieces that require you to drill two holes through the top of the bed rail for installation. If you must have the Toolbox sitting at bed rail height this is the option. Four carriage head bolts secure the assembly allowing you to place the Toolbox at a low profile using existing clamps that came with the Toolbox. Drill if you must. Not compatible with Tonneau Cover Adapter Brackets.
If you have a tonneau cover you want to keep when you install any BackRack Cab Guard rack, the Tonneau Cover Adapter set allows your Cab Rack to mount up higher above the level of your tonneau cover frame. This set of adapter brackets secures to built-in stake pockets along the top of your bed rails nearest the cab, then your Cab Rack bolts directly on top of the brackets themselves. Because these adapter pieces mount directly in your truck's stake pocket holes, they can only be used with tonneau covers NOT originally set up to use stake pockets for installation.
These brackets are not equipped for installation of lights or accessories, however separate mounting pieces are available should you choose to mount those items elsewhere. Reinforced steel construction with black ceramic powder coat matches the look and protection level of all other BackRack truck accessories, and gives you effective resistance from corrosion, scratches, chips and discoloration from the elements. BackRack builds the Tonneau Cover Adapter brackets and all components in North America, and backs the metal construction with a 1-year warranty against failure or corrosion due to manufacturing defects.
