Beat-Sonic® NDS6223EP - Navigation and Video in Motion Control Bypass Combo

Well-built look and performs like a factory OEM part, very self-explanatory installation, great job Beat-Sonic!

The store place try to charge me a arm and a leg for a couple hrs of labor I ordered it my self took a week to get Tom me I installed it my self took 20 minutes! I highly recommend but I wish I could mirror my phone or device also and see movie dvd and gps map at the same time I have the big double screen in my GS 350.

This navigation and video in motion control bypass combo works well. When I start the car, it goes to the video screen. I also bought Beat-Sonic® AVC38 - A/V RCA Input Cable Harness and hooked up a few different items - Chromecast and an Android stick. I like the Android stick the best for the most flexibility. Shipping was really fast to CA, I got the items the next day.

Fit was exact, its in a good location so it's not visible. Easy instructions and installation.

A couple of warnings: 1. Although it isn't difficult to install, the installation instructions are in Japanese, and the pictures included do not match this unit. 2. This unit does NOT work with the FA632US head unit installed in the Limited BRZ. Despite the lack of English instructions, I had this unit installed in my BRZ Limited in less than 20 minutes. It's pretty easy, since it will really only fit one way. Although it comes with two switches, mine only had one adhesive pad in the package for mounting, but I never actually got that far. Once I got everything plugged in, I took it out on the road to test it and immediately noted that my navigation system was working very, very slowly. The map was refreshing so slowly that it was useless for navigating. When I attempted to test the functions of the bypass (navigation input while in motion), the NT6122 simply didn't work. The lockout was still there. While looking for troubleshooting information, I came across the following note on the Beat-Sonic website: "2013-2014 Subaru BRZ with FA601US or FA601US head unit only (FA632US head unit is not compatible)" So now I know. I'd like to be able to give this five stars, but I really don't know how well it works because I had to return it. If you have the Limited BRZ, don't waste your time.

TRUCKiD hooked me up with this and I couldn’t be happier. This adapter is quite expensive, but if you have a GX 470 and want an aftermarket radio, it delivers high quality sound. The connections are very easy, the only issue for me was trying to cram this adapter in with all the other wiring and brackets. While expensive I highly recommend this Beat-Sonic adapter, it enables you to incorporate all the latest (Apple CarPlay/Android, Bluetooth 5, stream music from phone, etc) technology. To connect the front camera to the power you have to splice and solder wires. I was unaware of this when I researched the product.

There is no way interface with the rear speakers separately since you only wire up the front speaker wires from the radio, so the fader option will work. There is also no way to directly interface with the factory sub. However I knew what going in, it accomplished what I wanted. I get great sound and more volume than I'll ever need.
