Product Details
Bed Mat for Drop-In Liner (BMN05CCD) by BedRug®. BedRug bed mats are designed to work with factory truck beds as well as plastic drop in liners. Much like the BedRug, the BedRug Mat is made to fit your specific make and model and will give you the look and feel of carpet in an ultra-tough 100% polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. It will protect your truck while standing up to whatever you can throw at it. The mat liner is gas, oil, bleach, and chemical resistant and offers easy cleanup. With its cushioned foam non-skid surface, it will keep everything in place while protecting your cargo and your knees. The BedRug Mat material is fade and UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn't absorb water and will not mold or mildew. Just clean it with a hose, power washer or vacuum and your BedRug Mat is good as new. Tailgate mat sold separately.
Installation
This is the most innovative and unique truck bed mat. You get the look and comfort of carpet, in an ultra-tough 100% polypropylene (essentially plastic) product. That means not only will it protect your truck bed from impact dings and damage, it will stand up to the harshest conditions you can throw at it: from gravel to battery acid, while still protecting your precious cargo and your knees!
Its non-skid surface keeps your cargo in place. The BedRug material is fade and UV resistant. Made of foam similar to that used in life jackets, it doesn't absorb water and will not mold or mildew. Water will simply run off the surface, through the zippered perimeter, out the factory drain holes in the truck bed and will dry in as little as 20 minutes.
A vacuum, broom, brush or compressed air can be used to remove dirt, grime, sand, mulch etc. Because water will not harm the BedRug, pressure washing is also an effective way to clean a soiled BedRug. Although most acids will not harm the BedRug, baking soda should be applied immediately to neutralize the acid to ensure the safety of the paint on the vehicle. To clean tougher jobs such as gasoline, oil, chemicals, acid spills or leaks from your BedRug use detergent soap with degreaser and water, then rinse thoroughly. This detergent soap is used in most car wash locations with pressure washing equipment. The BedRug polypropylene closed-cell foam will not absorb water and the polypropylene fiber dries in minutes.
